Not to be annoying but I really wish people would stop complaining about the lack of promo. I know the era is messy, we all want a seamless rollout and for Lana to be well received, but that's not what's happening right now, and that's okay. 

 

I understand - between QFTC, sheer face masks, that messy interview and being branded a Karen because of these things, it has been a challenging year to be a LDR stan.

 

But enough about promo, enough about interviews, enough about the BTD era. Lana has been predominantly promoting her music through the internet, pure sales and print since Ultraviolence. All of which she has done for COCC. What more is there? Lana has always been about the music. Stop complaining about aesthetics. 

 

Also, no interest? She just had a good year with NFR, it was her most acclaimed work to date and I feel like the love she was receiving was so overwhelmingly beautiful as the music itself was. 

 

Just calm down and enjoy the music, what this is all really about anyway....

Well, they are actually promoting the album outside the US, so it seems like a personal vendetta against Uncle Sam. Maybe Lana is tired of Americans and now she is heading exclusively to Europe and UK (where she has always been strong, so who knows!).

It's not a big deal. All it says is that skinny jeans is over, which I agree. I have always hated skinny jeans because it's tight as hell. lol

And she is engaged to Clay so people need to deal with that. Enough with the jealousy.

Dark But Just a Game is maybe one of her best songs. So, so cool sonically, and lyric-wise, a career highlight IMO ("I was a pretty little thing/and God I loved to sing/ but nothing came from either one but pain", damn, Lana...)
