LDR9 - Pre-Pre-Release Thread

i dont know if y'all understand but there's an old Eastern conception that says "thiên cơ bất khả lộ" aka 天機不可露 (in Chinese) & in English it might be "confidential matter" of "the above" (i guess) - which the future holds and you are not supposed to know, otherwise there will be chaos & messed up occured. 

I heard that if you want to see into the future, (or your past lives), there is a "karma" à la "a price" you have to pay for. Even the tarot card reader has their own energy drained tf out of them if they do tell you "the supposed to be-untold"

 

thus, they only show you the way to the future, rather than telling you whats in stored.

I had a dream Lana collaborated with M83 and The War of Drugs and it was beautiful. The album consisted of stunning synths by M83 with electric guitars bathed in reverb. It sounded like a cosmic movie soundtrack, like nothing we'd ever heard not only from Lana but in general in POP music. For the closing track, Lana used 'Outro' by M83 but she completely changed the lyrics and it sounded incredible.

yeah i've never gotten why people use them for "divination" when it's more of a personal guide and a "what if" type thing

overall i just find stuff like this interesting also the concept that you explained makes sense to me or at least i believe i understand it (knowing the exact details of the future can mess up cosmic flow or something and the only way to know those details is to essentially "pay" for it - that's what i got from that)

anyway maybe this deserves its own thread - i'm really interested in it but i can tell that some people are getting alienated so

I’m not familiar with Clow Cards at all but just looking at the words:

The Big: Maybe the title will be iconic like BTD, UV, and NFR. Or maybe it will be long like COCC. 

The Sword: Swords represent the air element so the artwork could be pretty grey, and air also represents communication & intellect so there could be a lot of symbolism. 

The Change - We talked about this in this thread already, we said this album will be a huge change in sound. 

The Silent: The album is gonna be released silently, maybe there won’t be a big build up. 

The Maze: Again this was talked about. Lana said the songs are very conversational and wordy. So they’re complicated like a maze. “When I look back, tracing fingertips over plastic bags, I think I wish I could extrapolate some small intention or maybe get your attention for a minute or two.” 

The Shield: Idk what this means 💀
