Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd - Pre-Release Thread: OUT March 24th, 2023

anyways i wonder if she's stopped sharing snippets because she doesn't want us to shazam the tracks and possibly figure out the titles... since that's how we got (some) titles for nfr and chemtrails :nails: protecting that tracklist with her life

It's astonishing how easy it is for you to tear Lana down without actually hearing anything off of the new record aside from 2 crusty snippets and one single (which has shown a massive upgrade from her latest 2 records already). What you're saying couldn't be more wrong. The samples aren't as obvious as you think they could be, Lana is touching new grounds while delivering something new for her and despite this being her 9th album she's still proving herself to be a true one of a kind visionary. It's funny how you've assumed this bullshit after 2 of my posts which were vague at most on purpose. @Sportscruiser summed it up pretty well so I'm not going to continue but you should be embarrassed.

I hope this doesn’t come across as shady but is there a reason insiders are being so vague on the overall sound of the album? Is there a main instrumental pallet at use? Nobody has really described in a few descriptive words. Leads me to believe we’re in for a treat and y’all don’t want to ruin the surprise!

SPILL SPILL SPILL what is the general sound/genre of the album ? will it be her lemonade ? a conceptual genre bending album that’s waiting to be a critics darling ?

BoZ said A&W was unprecedented. He’s familiar with Lana’s discography, so I doubt the presence of trap beats alone make A&W experimental.

Also, unless one has heard the album, how can assumptions be made about how they’re woven into the record, much less about why Lana chose to incorporate them?

If someone doesn’t like trap beats or the samples she used, that’s fine, but making broad assumptions about unheard tracks and their compositions is nonsensical.

Since it's a long track I expect a lot of production changes similar to VB. The trap beats are probably only the tip of the iceberg of surprises we're getting :krylie:

White Dress alone buries it, but whatever you say. We'll see soon.
