bluechemtrails 23,109 Posted February 6, 2022 a mention of Elizabeth Grant as writer in a song register does not necessarily mean that it's a song by Lana lol, who knows how many unleaked songs have already been attributed to her in this way
PARADIXO 31,655 Posted February 7, 2022 This is my official ranking of her albums. For some reason I wasn't able to do one, but now that Chem and Blue are out and she has a large discography, it feels right. 1. Norman Fucking Rockwell! 2. Blue Banisters 3. Honeymoon 4. Born to Die 5. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 6. Ultraviolence 7. Lust for Life 8. Paradise

annedauphine 34,646 Posted February 9, 2022 Miley's Fly On The Wall could have easily be written by 2010 Lana. This has been on my mind for a few days now

blameitonme 14,840 Posted February 13, 2022 lana’s last 3 albums just clicked with me…… like something shifted. i get it now. i love love love her earlier works but it definitely felt like more of a character. her newer music is much openly more honest, relatable and casual in terms of the approach to writing. i think the writing is just as good as an album like honeymoon, but it’s a lot less dramatic. like it’s less about playing up the emotions and turning it into a movie (which i love) but it’s more everyday and approachable. idk i’ve felt quite disconnected from her work since 2018, listening to it occasionally. but i recently put on blue bannisters and walked around the grocery store and like….omfg i GET IT!

I Love the song, but it took me a whole 24 hours for it to click. And still to this day, I don’t fully understand why they hired that director, which gave us her best MV, for that quiet song… I was expecting something so much more psychedelic / trippy in sound.

Paradise I guess mine would be as followed, although the middle tier changes all the time, depending how I click with the songs. 1. Norman Fucking Rockwell! 2. Honeymoon - Ultraviolence 3. Blue Banisters 4. Born to Die - Paradise 5. Lust for Life - Chemtrails Over the Country Club: i have the same issues with both: some songs on them are among her best but both have songs I don’t connect much with (although I find the LFL songs easier to listen to in background). LFL is too eclectic in a way, but Chemtrails is a bit one-note.

Paradise This is mine, with plus signs for albums that have grown on me, equal signs for albums that have stayed relatively the same, and minus signs that have fallen down my rankings a bit: 1. Honeymoon (=) 2. Chemtrails Over the Country Club (+) 3. Norman Fucking Rockwell! (-) 4. Blue Banisters (=) 5. Born to Die (+) 6. Ultraviolence (-) 7. Paradise (+) 8. Lust for Life (-) 3 Quote "You can't be a muse and be happy, too. You can't blacken the pages with Russian poetry and be happy." - Blue Banisters Quote I asked Asmodeus (the demon of lust) to make Miley Cyrus suffer. I am not happy with these new developments. After Miley rips off Lana's aesthetic, she bullies Lana into changing her release date. It is infuriating.
