also, it's not just the israeli government that's endorsing this genocide - plenty of politicians, journalists and civilians are using nazi rethorics sprinkled with the bible / faith nonsense. I have the full right to say that i'm not exactly a fan of the jewish faith right now. Not when that same faith allows theft, occupation, rape, and murder of women and children. Also, is Israel being "nuanced" right now? Do we have to be gentle about it? Nobody owes Israel anything at this point. Bolivia has just cut its diplomatic ties with it, and if there's any justice in the world, others will follow.

 

Also, in case you try to play the anti-semitism card, i'm a Serbjan guy from Europe. Christian orthodox. We were against the Nazis in the second world war - unlike Croats.

 

i'm neither on the jew nor muslim side. I have no personal stake in this. But when i see a lack of "nuance" from an entire "nation", pardon me for not tiptoing around and saying how angred i really am by their revolting behavior. Sadly, Israel seems to have too many countries in their corner, too much heavy artillery, and too many lobbyists in governments for this to ever come to fruition.

The Jewish faith isn’t the one responsible, you’re blaming a FAITH (which includes people from around the world!) instead of a government. The Jewish faith does not equal the Israeli government. I feel so helpless and hopeless and angry. To make matters worse, my boyfriend is completely on the side of Israel. He's too tied up in the politics aspect to care about the humanitarian crisis that is unfolding in front of us. He just constantly parrots the propaganda talking points he gets from Western media. He literally claps and cries at Biden's speeches. The other day I went to his house and he had a fucking Biden mug and tote bag that he just bought. I can't get him to care about anything I send regarding Palestinians. 

 

I'm so disgusted by this country and how blatantly obvious everything that's happening is, yet so much of the world is on the wrong side. It's making me feel insane, like I'm constantly being gaslit. I just can't believe there's a genocide happening in front of our eyes and the majority is cheering for the terrorists and I fear that Israel will never be held accountable. And even if they were, you can't bring those people back. You can't undo the structural damage. Idk I'm just so sick.

i know you know that the Hamas isn't Palestinians and that denouncing the ongoing massacre does in no way equate to supporting the Hamas, but my problem with articles that are worded out that way is: do you think the Hamas has the power to 'annihilate Israel' the way Israel has the power to annihilate Palestinian people, which it is not only announcing (even though it has announced it), but rather actively doing?

In the same daily mail article you are referencing, Hamad literally says he does not want to harm civilians and that they have no option but to use violence as a means to end occupation since nothing else works, and it’s true. 

I am once again asking you to pick up a book rather than read a tabloid headline and call it a day.

Israel should know that it's almost impossible to completely destroy Hamas, and even if it does, the actions in Gaza will only lead to more hatred and terror from other groups.
