If this does turn out to be the first single of the covers album, I kind of wish that she would have waited a little longer to end the ocean Blvd era. At least until after the Grammys. I would have preferred an Ocean Blvd deluxe version over this, but it doesn’t seem like she cares for that anymore.

With Unchained Melody last night, another certified American classic, and now Country Roads, it certainly seems feasible that the covers album, with a country or Americana twist, is finally coming, as well as the recent magazine cover and interview.

She's so unpredictable. We got SYTH in May (?) and thought we were getting the unreleased collection and now we get this :hide:

What if we get BOTH projects in the near future :brows:

we’re getting the cover album this christmas and the unreleased collection next year mark my words (:flop:

Fake ass fans. When mother feeds us we say thank you and eat the music up with a smile. Don’t be ungrateful. :eyeroll2:

I’m personally LIVING happily for the country/folk aesthetic’s.

People are unhappy about this?

Maybe her younger fans?

I know for me, personally, I've grown with her music. When I was younger I was more drawn to the glamour and the old Hollywood aesthetic she sang so heavily about, but now that I'm older I relate with her focusing on the simpler things in life. Her music is maturing with her as she finds happiness in her present reality and not purely in daydreams - it's a beautiful thing 🥲
