ughhh lana, why, i'm so tired of seeing her make questionable choices and getting herself dragged, this could of easily been avoided if she would of just worn a proper mask.
 
i guess i can't let this bother me too much, i'm not going to defend her, but i know that i still love her and her music, and i can't change her actions.

her getting that typewriter and then writing this poetry book which caused her to have this event and the post she wrote on a typewriter app...

and not yall still trying to defend her with this silicone layer bs. she knew people came after her for wearing it last time, she would have said something then. also the magazine literally said WEAR A MASK, NOT THIS ONE  because it's unprotective
 
she's beyond ridiculous this year

the point is that there is no way a book signing and meeting fans could be considered an essential task. The reason why trader joes and targets are crowded is because they're supermarkets that people buy essentials from. promoting your poetry book last minute and with basically no preparation at all  that it had to be shut down by the health department in less than an hour (probably because an employee complained) is completely different from this. they can do whatever they want but we can call them stupid and inconsiderate tbh 
 
i also don't agree with restaurants being open but in LA at least you can't even eat inside the actual buildings, just outside or in a patio. She's hosting a crowded event in a closed space, there's really no excuse for this tbh.

It must be... art performance. Of the worst kind. But yeah.
Not sure why she's really blowing all her goodwill from people this time around.

It is difficult to believe. Maybe she is clueless but no one around her can say that masks aren't accessories that they are for worn  protection? Her doing that in such a high profile manner is just clueless that's all. It's like riding a motorcycle with a bathing cap from the 60's with rubber flowers stuck on. Looks cool until the bike goes down. Another day in LanaLand.

nah sorry babe that is not going to cut it. It's obnoxious behaviour. We know that cloth masks are mostly worn to protect others but even if she had tested negative, she knew this was going to start a mess, yet she decided to go on and let it be the focus instead of the book.
On a separate note, testing negative does very little in terms of prevention, unless she had tested negative on the same day and hadn't been around people 3 to 4 days prior. Both nose swab tests and blood tests can come out negative up to 4 days after being infected so that's that. I am so bothered by the whole thing right now seriously.

I think it's pretty clear that Lala won't do what anyone advises, including the US health department, so Chunk had no say in the matter and no choice but to try and put out the fire.

ETA: Also Chunk's gf thinks everyone should be able to just do whatever they want with no restrictions, so to a certain extent Chunk must agree

that mask is so embarrassing. im sorry. it just makes her seem very ignorant. unless she tested negative from a rapid test literally 5 minutes before, thats still not even a good enough excuse, she should be protecting herself as well. 

i swear some parents are gonna try suing her when their kids suddenly get corona out of nowhere 

i know right, it’s just pure stupidity at this point, there was absolutely no point in making this announcement a controversial CORONA talking point but yet here we are.
