Haha Eclipse, the most entitled acting "fan" ever who actually teased LfL material (and thus provoked the eventual leak of Love and BAR) and then felt like an exclusive journalist when she pmd him and told him some random stuff so he'd keep his mouth shut about LfL. This is what I believe is happening. Record companies are in the business of making money. More sales more money. To get more sales you need promotion. You can have the greatest set of songs imaginable, but if people don't know about it then so what. To promote you go on the talk show circuit, you make great music videos, you get some of your music on a TV show or movie soundtrack and yes a couple of radio friendly songs on the CD that the record company can use promote the artist and the CD. At this point in her career it doesn't look like Lana is willing to do any of the above. Post the occasional snippet every few months is treating the fans like a dog. Throw the dog an occasional crumb and he'll hang around a few more months. A sad state of affairs for an artist who I considered my all time favorite female singer until just recently.

i just can't understand what happened to her artistic persona and the effort she put into her visuals. idk if the label was forcing her to dress up and make high budget videos back then but i wish they kept forcing her to do that lmao.
i'm so scared of the visuals for this era cause i know the album cover is gonna end up being a random picture she took of a dirty street with the sunset on the background without any text on it expect an explicit content sticker she added with a random app on her phone. i just know this. ugh.

I’m listening to The Blackest Day rn while typing this and, she really made this song, she did that, this is something they created. One of her best songs tbh, if not her best. (next to Shades of Cool)

Idk if I already said this before but the only time the trap beats in her songs sounded bad was on Coachella. The trap beats  "trip hop beats" on BTD? Amazing. The trap beats on Honeymoon? Amazing. The trap beats on the other songs on LfL? Great.

Maybe if art direction was a thing this era

My fucking god if I hear one more person talking about the catholic church......... Can y'all stop playing dumb with this bullshit comparison? Lana was born catholic, as many people are. It's not a choice she made. Do you know any catholics? Do you know many catholics? I do, and I can't think of a single one under the age of 50 who's actually practicing. Not a single person. Even the ones that were sent to catholic school as kids. More than half of the people I know who were born into catholic families are only vaguely christian. Most catholics these days (elderly people aside) don't give a fuck about the church and its teachings. I don't remember ever seeing any pictures of Lana near a catholic church, and honestly, it wouldn't matter to me if she went to church (a catholic church) once or twice. I've been forced/pressured into going to church by family members in the past, it happens. Now, if she suddenly started going to church every Sunday and turned into a devout catholic? I'd feel the exact fucking same as I do now with Hillsong.

To be honest I'm finding her personality really off putting lately. The auburn bimbo Lana back in 2012 was more bearable than how she is now.

If they agreed to release Honeymoon because of High By The Beach, they can easily agree to release NFR because of Cinnamon. It's a catchy pop song, a perfect single. With the production it's even as catchy as her BTD singles... So I don't think it's the case here.

I think it's all because of this damn poetry book and we're just reaching because of lack of actual info.  Remember when Tropico was also "coming soon" for a few months straight? I'm almost sure she then revealed it was all because of her personal organization problems. 

Honeymoon truly was the best era. 15 months after UV (nobody was over it even a year after it), we had had 3 singles in the meantime (Big Eyes soundtrack and Wait for Life), the project pretty much stayed the same, tease of title track in June, track released in July, lead in August, 3 fan singles and the album in September. And what an album. Smart, minimal and cohesive release. None of this dragging on NFR shit.
