Beautiful Loser

My thoughts exactly. I was inactive around here till April basically and I was so surprised that so many people here dislike it... the lyrics are positive and yeah not her best but still beautiful, plus she's clearly acknowledging us through them and trying to make the listeners comfortable - yeah the chorus goes "it's enough to be young and in love", but to me she's also telling us between the lines that we're enough just the way we are and deserve to be loved as such. It took a few spins to grow on me the first time it leaked and LFL is dethroning its plays very soon, but I still love the track and the message - which she delivered far better than she did in Coachella. 

How can some of ya'll hate Love though? It's my favorite song from this whole era. When she says "Don't worry baby" and you can hear the humming in the background, you can hear a male voice very softly too. It's a very faint touch but for me, i get this strong sense of safety and comfort when i hear it. I feel warm and protected... and loved. I picture a loving grey moon smiling at me surrounded by a warm dark blue color. It's powerful and i probably sound very odd by saying this but it's incredible what great music can do. How it can touch your soul and bring out such beautiful emotions. I feel very spiritually connected to the song.

Groupie Love is something else. The melody when she sings "and everytime you look up"
 
I can see Brooklyn Baby, Groupie Love, and Cruel World being in an album together if UV was more psychedelic.

God I can't wait, the excitement is getting to me.

That sound at the end of the Instagram snippet, just for a half second - I have a feeling this is when Carti will come in to the song. I'm excited to hear what it's gonna sound like, this is absolutely my favorite song so far, I love soft rap like this. Very excited to hear what Lana cooked up for us in this album!

I saw it a month ago or so and IT'S SO HILARIOUS!!

You can all skip it and still have like 65 minutes of Lust For Life, besides, maybe she fixed the production.
 
That "There's something in the water, I can taste it turning sour... it's bitter. I'm coughing, but now it's in my blood" part kills me. Also a song with just Lana and a piano is something I've been waiting for a long time.
I'm expecting that one to sound like High By the Beach but even better.

LFL to drop 3 days after my 21st birthday!! My friends a DJ at a club in my hometown and I don't care what I have to do, I'll do whatever to him I have to to make sure he's playing SB and GL every time I walk my ass into the club.

my country has a lot of black beaches (volcanic sand) and it's very well known by surfers and beach lovers worldwide.

I know its wishful thinking but i pray to godt that she took the extra time of making this album to polish Coachella. It has a good hook but the production feels like a demo, it just needs a tiny bit of tweaking.

My interpretation of the line "white lines and black beaches, miles in between us" in #SB is that she's referring to the "white lines" painted on highway roads. And black beaches are usually very spacious and beautiful, which makes sense to refer to there being "miles in between" her and this man. It's like there are a million highways and beaches separating them.
 
Oh and OT but I literally drove two hours north of my hometown to visit a real life "black beach" simply because Lana seems to be referencing them a lot this era and I wanted to experience the real beauty of one before the album drops. I can see why she references them, they're jaw dropping, gorgeous.

I really can't stop playing Groupie Love snippet. The instrumentation (drum beat to be more precise)  for some random reason reminds me of horses walking on stone or hard surfaces but slowed down. Its so beautiful and one of the main reasons why I adore the track already 

Cherry is amazing
White Mustang is incredible
Groupie Love sounds so promising it's probably gonna snatch #2 or #1 best song on the album
Summer Bummer is a bop love the lyrics
Change grew so much on me and I can't wait for the full song
 
This album is so promising the only bad song is Coachella but the rest is so amazing I cant even
