With just over 8 hours to go until this thread is closed, I just want to say a huge thank you to all my friends and really, all the members who posted in this thread and made it so much fun. I’ve never seen a community come together quite like this, and whether there be fights or petty disagreements, I think that dysfunction is part of the magic (and chaos) that LanaBoards fosters. This year has been huge with both Chemtrails and Blue Banisters coming out and I’ve really had the time of my life talking to everyone about something and someone we’re all so passionate about. I’ve gotten to know a very cellular but real part of so many of you through your thoughts and taste in music and that’s really special and intimate, even if we’re all over the world! 
 
That’s what this community is all about and it’s been so amazing to be reminded of that a lot this past year. 
 
I’m excited to share thoughts with everyone about the new songs and how they come together to form a brilliant, beautiful, coherent piece of work and just revel in the mind and soul of the legend who is Lana Del Rey! See you all on the other side and sending lots of love to anyone who’s reading this <3

Idk but I also have the same impression as @Dealer Magnus Opus, I feel like she’s always there lmao. And maybe it’s all in my mind but I could swear it felt like every live show I’d watch online, she was in Brazil (or maybe it was some of the iconic performances??). And she always had bomb fans there too, those shows were always so hype. Idk if she’ll tour for BB but I assume she’ll be back there ASAP 

we're closing off another pre-release era, filled with laughter, fights, delusions, chaos, trolls, shitposts, & friendship!  i get a feeling we won't immediately enter another pre-release for "ldr9" right away  it'll be weird not having a full-fledged pre-release era for a main lana del rey album immediately after this one is finished, but for all we know, lana could hint at ldr9 through instagram, or her tv appearence tomorrow!  i've had so much fun with you all, not just for blue banisters, but also chemtrails!  we'll always be a tight-knit, amazing, exciting community, always having our gifs handy whenever we need them!  and if we don't get the pre-pre-release thread for ldr9 right after, we always have the covers album thread!      

Everyone manifest IYLDWM being the next single + having it be performed on Colbert with a music video co-starring Father John Misty coming afterwards

If you hate her now because its become a trend (but during NFR you bowed down to her) then you're as small minded as it gets and it's clear that you do not think for yourself, you only take what other people say and make it your opinion.
If you're a critic and you focus on the artist and not the music, get a new job lol

What amuses and triggers me at the same time is people using the word "whisper" for singing, it makes no sense. You can sing with a soft voice, you can sing quietly, you can sing with a very breathy tone, but you cannot whisper and sing at the same time. Whispers are whispers, and I wish people would stop making the confusing between whispering and using a very delicate way of singing. Like it or not, but singing like Lana does in White Dress or at the end of BB is insanely difficult, it requires so much control and this way of singing should be praised if anything. It’s understandable why some people don’t like it, but it’s probably one of the most difficult ways of singing and it’s a stylistic choice that should never be criticised.
