these performances were more low key than i was expecting, but she sounded fantastic and camera roll was super heartfelt. i guess it makes sense that she wouldn't have big, bombastic tv performances for this album– she wouldn't want it to seem like she's making a party out of very real and not so distant heartbreak. can't wait to see her in feb.!
 
star crossed is prob my fav release of the year so far, though miss BB may very well take that spot in a few short weeks

I'm most excited to hear Sweet Carolina! Seems like it's a very intimate moment for the Grant family to work on a song together.
However, I'm a bit annoyed that we've heard like a good portion of the album already, 11 songs out of 15. Fours singles plus unreleased songs. Even if they've been reworked, the melody and most lyrics will stay the same. I wish Lana would have picked songs that didn't leak or made the album a few songs longer. If the album has a nice flow and songs transiotion from one to another, then I'll be more than happy.
