It immediately transported me to a wedding in the 70s, very The Deer Hunter-esque.
I also don’t get the complaining about Jack’s super short verse because it’s well short and once you imagine yourself at the mood and space the song is taking you to, it’s like the drunk groom just stormed the stage to sing some nonsense and then left. Incredibly atmospheric. Love it!

i'm a margaret truther, i just know it's going to be a cute, bombastic track which will be hated at first, but will receive her flowers later on when people realize it's a banger

I honestly love it. It's frightening, eerie, unsettling, and odd... And the super strong reactions people are having to it make me appreciate it even more. That's what art should do. I'm gay, grew up in the church, have had a very mixed experience with religion, but I find Lana's artistic vision fascinating and compelling. The interludes are obviously here to add a thick layer of heavy atmosphere. It doesn't bother me at all, but I can understand why others may not like it, projecting off their own lived experiences. Megachurches and celebrity pastors are evil if you ask me, but that's also why I'm not surprised Lana's intrigued by them.

I actually don't hate this track, I just wish the voice of the pastor could be edited in a more atmospheric / church hall echo and lower in the midst of the ambient sounds. hearing him screaming constanly like a maniac is scary and weird (even tho i'm a catholic christian myself). Regardless, this is an errie & bizzare track and im here for it, but it'll be better if they take that "errieness" too another level of camp.

I guess unpopular opinion but I love it. I love how dark, unsettling, and eerie it feels. The production is incredible too.

Paris, Texas is an instant favorite. To me, it's a very bittersweet song, for some reason it makes me very melancolic... It's like a lullaby, so soft, makes my want to wander in the Great Plains at the sunset, or in Roma... Maybe that's just me tho. Also loving her high pitched voice

Me listening to Umbrella the other day and realizing that it has "umbrella" and "rockerfeller" in the lyrics

It would kind of be a serve if the Candy Necklace lyrics are less literal and she sings about “leaving something sweet on your neck”

Okay, I’m really proud of these next ones. I decided to remake my Red (Taylor’s Version) cover because I think my previous attempt wasn’t executed greatly. I also remade the god awful, illegible back cover that Red (Taylor’s Version) received and spruced up the disc covers. Honestly, Red (TV) has some of the worst graphic design and packaging I’ve seen ever. I also made a cover for Karma in the style of reputation.
Taylor Swift - Karma.
Taylor Swift - Red (Taylor’s Version).

Wow, the Honeymoon covers actually work perfectly with the Music to Watch Boys to title.. Both poses really match with that title x

Imagine if Lana's albums were released with their original/working titles, this is the result. Originally posted on Reddit, with minor tweaks.
Nevada (Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant)
Born 2 Die* (Born to Die)
Note: Original or planned titles included G.B.A. (God Bless America), The Best of Lana Del Rey,
The Revenge of Lana Del Rey, The World Is Ours, and Do U Luv Me Yet?
Born 2 Die — The Paradise Edition (Born to Die — The Paradise Edition)
Melancholia* (Ultraviolence)
Note: Melancholia was the original song name for what we have now is the title track of Ultraviolence.
Music to Watch Boys To (Honeymoon)
Best American Record* (Lust for Life)
Note: This may not be accurate, but I'd like to think this is the name she had planned for the album.
Bird World (Norman Fucking Rockwell!)
White Hot Forever (Chemtrails Over the Country Club)
Rock Candy Sweet* (Blue Banisters)
Note: Loved You Then and Now (Rock Candy Sweet) was originally planned to be in the upcoming album,
but was later scrapped and the album title changed to Blue Banisters.
