This is really ridiculous! Eclipse is literally the only reason everyone is so thirsty in the first place. I don't care what your opinion about me is, you can't justify that this whole thing wasn't caused by him. He's the one who let us know that there was shit out there/coming (+1 thirsty), he's the one who fed us lyrics that could lead us to this shit (+2 thirsty), he's the one who fed us the shit about his personal conversations with Lana (+3 thirsty), he's the one that told us that LANA GAVE HIM THE ALBUM TITLE AND LYRICS (+4 thirsty), and it just keeps going on and on. He basically betrayed Lana by even letting us know he talked to her. He shouldn't have even brought up that he knew shit in the first place. That's just facts, and you can't deny it henny.

I remember last year, she talked about how influenced by the Liz Taylor movie The Sandpiper she was at the time and how it gave her ideas for videos. From the few visuals we got I can already sense it coming through, it fits with the lyrics.
    The 60s-cult-leader-wife-liz-Taylor-poseur-lizzy-grant-rap-californian-gangsta queen has arrived

She needs to do rock inspired music again, or more upbeat (not HM upbeat)

LMAO I was just going to say that!
I wanna make like two edits tbh. One for UV and one for BrB!

Same. I think she definitely has enough scenes to fill up the video.

    You forgot:
"An album that was originally an EP for a re-release"

HE DOES! I also searched the web for info on the original video and found something amazing on here! There was athread talking about the whole cult leader theme she#s exploring in the song. However, it was a theory that the entire album was actually based on it and when I checked the date of the post I found out that it was posted BEFORE we even had the slightest clue about the video.

I actually think she is referring to both Jims.

    1. Father Yod aka. James "Jim" Edward Baker
    - He was the guy who had the cult girls.
    - Unlike Jim Jones he had a harem with girls dressed all in white.
    - He's also literally a "daddy" as he referred to his harem as the "Family"
    - He died on Hawaii when he tried to 'fly' over the crater of a vulcano and the crashed on the beach
    - He also had a band and made music, even released some of it. (See Brooklyn Baby - "Too young to love you", "freedomland of the seventies")

    2. Jim Jones
    - His cult was mainly known for the Jonestown massacre in which he made ppl drink poison after comitting suicide

I firmly believe that she's mixing the two of them.

Taking the words out of my mouth.

You know...there is always the possibility of her ending the video with a "To be continued..." Going by her current teasing she may have filmed something with Quentin.

The best song from Honeymoon. Is that what you were trying to say?

Here are my extremely possible predictions
    1. Tour announcement exclusively for Italy.
    2. New selfie article for RS Italia
    3. Acting in a new James Franco film
    5. The lead single "Videocamera" off her next album
    6. An even lower budget continuation of High By The Beach with God Know I Tried where she just rolls around in the beach sand half dead for five minutes with scorched newspaper clippings gently flying all around her
    7. Her and Francesco engaged
    8. She deletes the photo and never mentions it again. She was trolling us the entire time with the photo by posting a magazine photo with her name photoshopped onto it.
    9. Her IG is hacked.

Pretty disappointing results so far this era.

Most likely a No.5 debut in Germany, No.2 in the UK, No.2 in the US but with a sales decrease of 35 % compared to UV and yeah. Overall, underwhelming numbers. She won't reach 30k in the UK. BTD opened up in the UK in a February with 117k.

wow, i got to Urban at 4:30pm on Friday, I JUST made it i was 124 in line, I camped out until 9am when i got my  wrist band, then I went home and got ready and stuff, then by the time i was done i went back for the meet and greet, right now its 12:40am on sunday i just got home, I still haven’t slept or anything, Ive barely eaten or sat/ laid down either But I’m so suprised Lana remembered me, she said she saw me in front and was so excited to talk to me again, and that shes missed me a lot, when she was signing my Honeymoon Vinyl I was suprised she knew my name, Ive never told her it! I'm so happy, she told me she thought my new blonde hair suited me, and that she thought my face could suit any color, I told her how much i loved her new black hair and i sung the blackest day, then she sung black beauty LMAO!!! I asked her if we could take serious selfies, here they are
I also showed her my new polaroid which she took from me and inspected sort of lmfao, she told me she had the same one, I took this really beautiful polaroid of her, I uploaded it in HQ too heres the link: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j68/nickdelrey/Scan_zpslpn3onjp.jpeg

Don't say that, she needs to continue singing. She's one of the best singers the world ever saw, such talent, but I felt this when I saw Swan Song lyrics for the first time too and I admit I was really afraid with this possibility. But she said she has plans on releasing albuns within 15 months, so let's just expect for the next, and the next and the next...

So, I posted a status about this but I thought I should post it here too.
I was in  Urban Outfitters yesterday and saw this poster on their window promoting Honeymoon, but it says at the bottom "September 12 - 3pm at All UO Stores" It's kind of small since the picture is LQ bc I took it through snapchat, but if you zoom in, you'll see it. (along with a poor watermark of my tumblr bc i am so done with fan accounts stealing pictures I post around :'))

Do you think this is true or a possible mistake?
  22. stnoir liked a post in a topic by evilentity in Halsey
I thought a Halsey track sounded kinda Lana-ish before Halsey even sang it or was even a thing. #HipsterAlert

    No seriously.

Following my own advice to "Keep an Eye on the 'Industry Players'", I follow a lot of music industry accounts on Soundcloud, including one for TaP mgmt, Lana's manager Ben Mawson's company that manages Lana as well as OTTR, TIWMUG, and G&M co-writer Tim Larcombe. So a couple years ago a set labeled "Tim Larcombe" popped up on there which included two instrumental tracks labeled "BT I" and "BT II", "BT" presumably standing for "backing track", which sounded vaguely Lana-esque so I saved them in case they ended up being used on an album. (I'm not exactly sure when they appeared. This archive.org snapshot indicates they were uploaded in October 2012, but I'm not sure they were public that early. I saved them in September 2013, but I know I found them awhile before I got around to ripping them.) Anyway, fast forward to this morning when I was listening to Halsey in order to defend her detractors from a more educated position when I listened to "Strange Love" and experienced some major déjà vu. I recognized the backing track instantly as "BT I". Sure enough, Tim Larcombe is indeed the producer of "Strange Love":

Listen to a copy of "BT I" (click on the Soundcloud link below it if the embedded stream doesn't work) that I uploaded as a private track in April 2014 to show to @@Monicker, who deemed it "pretty uninspired":

I don't think Halsey is a complete ripoff of Lana; she's extremely derivative of her contemporaries in general, one of them being Lana. Her voice doesn't sound at all like Lana. Only a couple songs sound like Lana ripoffs ("New Americana" being the most blatant well-documented example). But she occupies a lyrical universe that overlaps a lot with Lana's. However, being a documented fan of Lana with a song title the same as one of Lana's with a backing track possibly even written for Lana by a producer that worked with Lana and has the same management as Lana... I know some of that's probably coincidence, but it's all just a little too much. And it's easy to imagine her going, "OMG, you worked with Lana? OMG, Can I work with you? OMG, you've got a backing track you wrote for Lana that she didn't use? OMG, can I use it? Great! I'll name it after one of her unreleased tracks!"
