Yeah dude, like properly recorded and mastered balanced and atmospheric instrumentation and vocals are the absolute worst and most shallow aspects about Lana's albums pre-NFR. Don't you know?
 
Let's hope that on COCC Lana dives back into that. I looove shallow music.

I think whether she “retires” or takes a hiatus or not depends entirely on if she has a serious significant other involved and if she starts to settle down, have children, etc.

I was listening to ultra violence today and it’s soo woozy as an album such a great record but very distorted and odd.theres tons of instruments but none are discernible or sharp they kinda blend together into this dreamy landscape and for a rock oriented record the guitars aren’t always in the forefront.money power glory and fmwupt are prime examples of this.

now why is this good

I dont want snippets... she can keep them. Just one or two songs and then drop the record. There were way too many songs spoiled with NFR (before the leak).

at this point I feel like Lana likes to play cat out mice game with her fans, with how bad the roll outs of her albums turn out. But also, how sucky her snippet game is. She legit spoils half the album, if not more, even before she releases it.

She said in an interview about the time of the release of LFL that 'Roses Bloom For You' was only an intro and outro to the LFL album, so it's very likely that what we know of RBFY is the entire song. There is not more.
 
Remember, there were several different conceptions of what LFL was intended to be; it changed a lot. One version probably introed and outroed the entire album with RBFY, with the second track, and first full song, perhaps being '13 Beaches,' since it feels like an album opener or closer.  
 
One day soon she'll do a career retrospective like Tori Amos's 'A Piano,' and then we'll get songs/tracks like 'Yosemite,' 'RBFY,' the 'political songs' she left off LFL, some of the material deleted from UV, etc. Kate Bush has also released such a large set. 

Honestly, say what you want about miss lana but she is ALWAYS feeding us. Remember when she said that whenever she finishes a record she almost immedietely starts working on a new one. Which means she's probably already working on new music as we speak we don't deserve her! Unlike some of those other clownlike artists that take 5 years to release a messy 11 track album that ages like milk yes im looking at you miss lorde. We are so spoilt and have decided to stan forever!

I feel like that's quite an unpopular opinion, but I'm actually obsessed with that title.
 
I hope the album has that lush 60s type of sound (maybe with a touch of psychedelic rock) à la 'Nancy & Lee' especially on 'Summer Wine' or 'Some Velvet Morning' or even like 'We Have All The Time In The World' by Lewis Armstrong (can you just imagine Lana even covering that one).
 
Because that's totally what I'm getting from 'Chemtrails Over The Country Club' and also judging by the couple of old movies pictures and videos she has posted on Instagram lately. Old school is what Lana does best in my opinion.

I hope NK shoots the cover and it will have the same vibe as the "rust dress/ ultraviolet white" photoshoot from the UV era

The Endless Summer Tour was honestly amazing, her best tour in my honest opinion. 

I truly don't get what she saw in him. Like every photo of them together looks like she's hanging out with her really basic dad. And that has nothing to do with him being older and everything to do with just...nothing there. If he has any sort of personality, it's undetectable. Either that or he's a very different person when the camera is off.
I also mildly blame him for what Lana said in his post. We know she gets swayed easily by her partners and he just seems like the type to be against/doesn't get "music these days" and how he thinks everything was better in the old days. I could see him making comments like this and it maybe got Lana thinking and comparing her work to current artists. 
I mean maybe Lana just needed a break from the creatives? I feel like she should ultimately end up with someone who is creative in something and more of a thinker. She needs someone who gets her in that way. I'm still rooting for Barry to get his shit together and treat her better so that maybe they can be together. Or, if not Barry specifically, then someone like him. Creative, artistic, sensitive, etc.
