Buckle up bitches. If Lana is ~trying~ (keyword:trying) to release another "short film" (I don't think I want to classify TROPICO as a short film, it's just three music videos tied together with a story, but that's a whole different discussion) and it's handled in the same fashion as TROPICO, then we are in for one hell of a ride. I love that she's interested in showing us these projects that she does because we know that's she always been fond of making videos and telling stories, but I don't think that TROPICO was handled in the best fashion. If she wants to do another one, then she needs to have the full support from her label (something I don't think she had the last time around) and they need to handle things properly. With proper release dates, proper venues, and proper promotion. And if it does wind up being like Ride and National Anthem, then I'm going to rip my eyeballs out because those are not short films, they're done up music videos (in my opinion).

If Charlie was about 6 or 7 when she went off to boarding school, I don't think that's something her parents would've sat down and talked to him about that. I think that's more of a conversation they would've had when he got older and began to ask questions. And if her alcoholism is the reason why she went off to boarding school, I'm sure they told him to tell absolutely nothing about the subject.

I don't remember where, but I remember Lana discussing how she's "nomadic" in a way, and I really understand and relate to that. I've never had one specific group of friends and moved around some when I was younger so I really understand that moving around/being around new people thing. Also her interest in death, not in a weird way, but in a "what happens when you're dead" way. I guess curiosity of the unknown. I also really relate to her independence and doing things on you're own. I love to do things alone like going to the movies or mall, but I also don't mind doing them with someone and I feel like Lana is the same way. Also her many references of unrequited love, unfortunately. 

I have a problem with you saying things like, "Are u sure you're a fan when simple things like this go over your head?" You don't need to know every single little detail to be a fan. Of course there are varying degrees of being a fan but saying things like that is kinda annoying. Also, just because you have you facts a little jumbled doesn't mean they're any less of a fan than you are. Saying things like that makes you look awfully immature and the last thing we want is for Lana's fans to be perceived as one of those fan bases that banishes you if you don't have the facts straight 100% of the time.

This is actually incredibly upsetting. If they knew anything about Lana, they'd know that this type of attention is the farthest thing she'd want and I don't even know how they could call themselves fans with such disrespectful actions. I hope this restraining order will calm things down a bit, but I also hope that Lana feels safe sometime soon.

I was really surprised that High By the Beach was submitted for a nomination. I mean, yea it's catchy and all and the "you could be a bad motherfucker, but that don't make you a man" lyric is amazing, but it's probably the most superficial track on Honeymoon. I think they are *trying* to appeal to the Grammy voters, but they need to stop wasting their time. Aside from High By the Beach, I don't really know what song they could've nominated because usually singles are nominated, from what I remember from years past. Of course I'd love to see Lana be shown appreciation for her work, because I think she wants that deep down, but I don't think the Grammys are going to give that to her, other than a nomination.

I love the necklace; I think it looks really nice and pretty, but it's grossly overpriced. $40??? I can *understand* (I don't like it) a shirt being $40 as it's a shirt and merchandise is always expensive and blah blah blah, but you can't just have $40 apparently-crappy necklace. I would've totally bought it had it been more reasonably priced.

Yeah, because as a fan, it's normal to not care about interesting TV/Radio performances, music videos or any kind of promotion
 
No one wants her to have a bad time and of course she is just a human being and has the right to cancel a show if she's not feeling well. But cancelling a show twice last minute and not even excusing to all of the fans that have looked foreward to this is, aswell as putting out a reord and then do not really anything with the music is something you can critisice on a fansite. Because as a fan, I love her for her music and also want to see her performing it, putting it into music videos, promote it on the TV and radio. Not because i care for sales, but because promo means I get something to see/hear from my all-time-favourite artist. And as I am a fan and not a friend of her, this upsets me, even if I can understand she is not a music-selling robot and want her to be happy.
 
So put your over-the-top idolisation down a bit and stop lashing out at people who aren't practicing it your way. Worrying about someone is the one thing, many of us did. But don't get carried away, in the end we are all just fans and not her best friend.
Apart from this .. there are people on here who I really would question on why they are on a Lana fansite, but HEARTCORE is definitly none of them.

Nobody trash talked Lana...where are you getting that from....
 
There was nothing wrong with the album, just the fact she didn't do anything with it. This isn't a time where an artist can just put out an album without anything with it - there has to be more coherency.
 
If you can't criticise your idols, then you're just plain silly, really. Nobody is perfect and god knows that Lana is so problematic sometimes. That's great that you didn't question her but I'm not gonna sit here in silence whilst she delivers a half-assed era to us. Don't be ignorant.
