I've never heard of this Clayton person, but hopefully she's happy and he treats her well. My understanding is that she and Sean Larkin split up in February or March. I remember his New York Times interview where he mentioned they had broken up. Maybe I'm cynical, but I feel like all the Hollywood types have their own agendas. I kind of wish she would just meet a non-celebrity guy, some guy who owns a huge ranch or something in the middle of the country and she could just live that quiet life in the country if she chooses.  She just doesn't seem to have good luck with these Hollywood types.  Regardless, I only want the best for her and for her to be happy. ❤️

One of the things I admire the most about Lana is how she manages to stay sober for sooo long. It's hard especially when you're in a group where everybody's drinking around you. Maybe her having a good time in a group just doesn't rely on alcohol which is also admirable to me.

Which, I know by now, is one of the standard best practices in kpop? ie these idols are presented in various variety shows, showing more often than not the ultra opposite of their stage/idol personas?
 
I remember a Michael Jackson (non-verbatim) quote: A celebrity/idol must maintain their 'idolhood' persona, otherwise everything is ruined.
 
Of which, I can understand at one perspective.
 
Kpop, packaging their idols like so, is deconstructing that imo, all the while being an also ultra-opposite (to UK/US) in terms of dealing with these idols private lives, apart from what they agree to show on screen.
 
The fact that nobody has ever seen/know anything about Jennie's dad, or Lisa's biological dad--is a feat in itself imo.

I like NFR but out of all Lana's work did it really have to be the most critically acclaimed?
Having the general public not appreciating her other stuff that much (besides BTD) feels like such a let down imo.

nfr is a boring flop. i never understood how yall say its some godly masterpiece. flop instrumental with flop lyrics to appeal to critics and bald old dudes

Even the opening strings don't do much for me, because the rest of the song isn't worth it. 

 

Idc for 24 hours or swan song. Blackest day is good but not one of her essentials imo, and Salvatore is fine. The second half of honeymoon isn’t it for me, and I know most people love it (I love the whole thing up to Salvatore tho). It’s not to say it isn’t good, it just isn’t the Lana stuff that moves me.
