The way this album perfectly melds together psychedelic folk/rock, surf rock, and 60s-inspired piano ballads. We have to stan a classic.

California tugs at my heartstrings at a crazy level when it hits the chorus. 
 
Actually, so much of this album has incredibly raw emotion.

I love seeing her smiling so much and enjoying herself. I love and identify w/ the sad girl shit but happiness > sadness.

Yooooooo Doin Time sounds so good and natural following up FIILY. I don’t get all the people decrying it as out of place on the album..

Also FIILY is clearly about herself... and overcoming self hate.. you would think with lyrics as basic as ‘Fuck it I love you!’ Repeatedly .. explains why she’s alone in the video

I haven't watched the video yet but The National???  My favourite Sad Dads???  They're one of the best live bands currently touring, if anyone has a chance to see them go for it!
