Lana Del Rey has revealed to W Magazine that a new, still untitled album is in the works.
"I’ve been practicing meditative automatic singing, where I don’t filter anything. I’ll just sing whatever comes to mind into my Voice Notes app. It’s not perfect, obviously. There are pauses, and I stumble. But I’ve been sending those really raw-sounding files to a composer, Drew Erickson, and he’ll add an orchestra beneath the words, matching each syllable with music and adding reverb to my voice. For this new music, it’s more just like: I’m angry. The songs are very conversational. For the first song, I pressed record and sang, “When I look back, tracing fingertips over plastic bags, I think I wish I could extrapolate some small intention or maybe get your attention for a minute or two.” It’s a very wordy album."

- Lana will make an announcement about the album on December 7th, as stated in an Interview on November 30th, 2022
- Lana is working on an untitled album with a completed opening track, confirmed in her interview with W Magazine in May 2022
- Lana is collaborating with composer Drew Erickson, confirmed in her interview with W Magazine in May 2022
 
 
Speculations
- Neil Krug & Anna Cofone may have involvement with the album photoshoot, as hinted in various Instagram posts, stories, and comments made by the three in December 2022
- Jack Antonoff worked with Lana on a song completed in April 2022 that could be on her record, as stated in his interview with The New Yorker in May 2022
- There is a possible collaboration with Jon Batiste, as Lana shared a video in a studio with him as a song snippet played on @honeymoon in August 2022
- Ian Kirkpatrick may be involved with the production, speculated after Lana shared a picture of a video call with him on her IG stories in September 2022 
- Her father may be involved with the record as he shared photos in Jack Antonoff's studio in March 2022
- The record may be a digital-only release, per her statement during an Instagram Livestream in October 2021
- Lana wore a custom-made jacket by the director of LDR Village with a patch that said "DNC" that may pertain to the record in December 2021
 
 
 

Yet you can't seem to get enough as you've been coming back to this thread for years to hate on her. 

I think it’s my favourite album of hers. I just can’t stop listening to it!
And it sounds like a mix of her entire discography, but in a good way, because it’s still really cohesive:

love this so much  definitely the spiritual successor to INL.

I relate to VFR so much. The line “Ever since I fell out of love with you, I fell back in love with the city/the streets“ speaks to me as much as the title track does. I went through a breakup in February and started hating the city I live in, I was so uncomfortable walking down the streets knowing my ex was never going to walk them with me anymore, and step by step, as I was moving on, I rediscovered the city, and how beautiful it is. And sometimes it feels like the neon lights are sparkling for me, just like Lana thinks the Paramount sign sparkles for her

Gurl it’s literally a piano balllad or a piano ballad with srtrings just take the l and move on lmao

I really love how operatic her voice sounds. I’m surprised she can still hit those notes with that much ease. Her voice sounds healthy, the vibrato on the G5s is really great. It might sound a bit out of her comfort range, but I think that’s because she hasn’t sung like that in years. Last time she delivered this kind of vocals was on MPG in UV, so it’s been like 6 years. I personally am a huge fan of her upper register, so I’m hoping for more belts and more use of her operatic head voice in the future.

Actually, HM’s was perfect: Title track teased in June via snippets on IG, title track release the next month, lead single in August, followed by cover reveal, tracklist reveal, fan tracks and the album in September. There were a couple of interviews and videos, but it was mainly about the music, which I love. 
In retrospect, LFL was incredible as well if we omit the damn release date that never was mentioned until that ugly tweet, at the end of May. There were many singles, MV, snippets, interviews, glamorous photoshoots, all in a 5-month period. 
NFR was excruciating, Chemtrails and BB were very minimalistic… 

Signs that the new era has officially started:

In hindsight I don’t think that was ever actually the album cover tbh

honeymoon & blue banisters can co-exist in her beautiful & groundbreaking discography 

except she literally starts twerking and flipping off the camera in the trio portion of the arcadia video
