Henry, where the fuck

the album is really not that bad. I don’t know much about her or her past controversies, and I’m sure that’s being factored into the reception, but as far as the music itself goes it’s certainly far from the worst stuff out there. It just feels like people decided they were going to hate it long before it came out. 
 
I don’t think it helps that I LUV IT (which I actually enjoy for its stupidity) is the first track and some people can’t even get through that one. 
 
all that said, Dade Country Dreaming, Dreamgirls, Pretty When I Cry, and BOAT are the standouts here (and honestly the interlude between dreamgirls and boat is nice and bridges them beautifully). 
 
June Gloom is nice but it sounds so Taylor Swift coded on the verses and the bridge and Lana coded on the chorus.

i like the song a lot but it’s not major. it adds nothing extra to the world but i will be replaying and shaking my ass to it non stop

I don’t think Zodiac should’ve replaced Candy Necklace on the album but I do think it should’ve been on it. The album was already long, 1 more song wouldn’t hurt
 
ALSO not too much on Candy Necklace either, don’t forget it’s a Grammy nominated song, which is difficult to get not every song has that to their credit

If this ends up being for Quavo I do think there is probably some large scale change of plans for Lana. It clearly being country themed and teased with the same border/aesthetic as Henry are strong suggestions towards it being hers. So I think if it ends up on his project it was maybe meant for hers but she scrapped it.
