I agree on the evermore take but fearless is pretty solid, has some really good songwriting and harmonies

i know im gonna get shat on but tbh i HEAVILY prefer BOTH reputation and Lover to this like it's not even close

Tried to give it a second listen. It was easier for me to adapt to the changes in soundscapes between songs this time (although the distorted voice in Midnight Rain is truly traumatizing and horrifying - and no, this time I don’t mean Taylor’s voice) and appreciate the album a bit more this time on that front.
 
However the lyricism is just too mined with misfires that are too big and too many. Someone whose songwriting is so frequently admired and acknowledged truly took their time to write “sit quiet by my side/not the kind that’s thrown/the kind under where a tree has grown” at the age of 33 which I personally find perplexing. Disturbing, even.
 
The quality difference between a track like Bigger Than The Whole Sky and Vigilante Shit tells me everything I need to infer from this project, a directionless cashgrab that’s attractively adorned and polished enough to pass as remotely interesting. Carly Rae Jepsen (an artist I don’t even like) has been doing the exact same with more flair and less self-importance.
 
With that being said, I wish the best for her.

I haven't heard the leaks but it's so disappointing to see the unanimous stance on the album. I was also looking forward for introspective singer songwriter take that she had since folklore but I'm not too into the rep and lover eras. I really want to know why she would think continuing that way of writing is the best thing to do lololol. It's utterly embarrassing. 
 
My dumb ass even thought at one point when she released the lighter cover that it was going to be this crazy Sonic Youth Daydream Nation route. If only.......

What I don't understand is why don't her managers hire an IT expert who can properly set up her devices with disk encryption, hardware 2FA and secure backups and teach her what to look out for in regards to hacking and social engineering?

The album is so not it, she sounds like a teenage girl. Time to grow up Taylor…the lyrics are so cringe.  The public will lap it up though because it’s ‘Taylor’.  

I liked the album but why is she still singing about karma, revenge and teenage relationships  plus the lyrics are not it. Cool sound tho, I enjoyed it

This makes me so sad. She looks like she's holding back tears when she talked about the poetry book. But her being optimistic about the situation ease me a little. I cannot fathom how her label and management let this keep happening to her.
