I can't stop thinking about how this would be perfect thematically as the final track on the album if Lana were to be consistent with having the final song being a cover that summarises her feelings / the theme of the album.
 
1. It would flow great after Get Free
2. The references to vibrations across the nation and the movement of a generation fit the whole "global" feel she spoke about a lot
3. The flowers in your hair relates back to the album cover...
4. The summer of love theme in general tying back to Love and the whole aesthetic and vibe she was going for with California in the 60s

I guess people don't care if she's dating or not... As long as the guy in question isn't an asshole!
 
In this case, specifically, people seem concerned about the ideas she's aligning with and what she's "legitimating", getting involved with someone with a clearly controversial profile. (And she's certainly aware of that. I don't find her so naive or stupid as not to know).
Also, some fans really care about her (People want to see her happy, healthy and away from any kind of toxic / abusive relationship).
 
People wouldn't mind their relationship if he wasn't a guy of questionable character.

so true!!! i always found that love song story so funny, cause honestly... that's one of my least fav songs on the album hahah
 
yeah, i do think it's gonna be similar to NFR. the title (which probably won't even remain the title lmao) makes me feel like there's a chance she could amp it up a little with this record, turn the heat up, make it sensual and sexy and freeing.... but i'm not keeping my hopes up. i do like NFR, but i'd love something different.

^^^ i think the comfort zone comment is an important detail. sometimes i think it's too easy for lana just to kinda go with her first draft of every song when she's working with someone she's super comfortable with, and for them to just approve it. i've banged on about lana's slightly lazy lyricism on NFR before (despite the album also having some of her finest lyrical work!) and i would love love love if for WHF she worked with someone who pushes her and encourages her to tighten it up. "lying on ur chest in my party dress im a fuckin mess but iiii ohhhh thanks for the high life honey its the best pass the test and yes" like no pls no more of that thank u

Honestly she should just give us an album in vein of Hollywood, Angels Forever and Yes To Heaven... Kinda like a Paradise album vibe but fresh and more dreamy.

what would you guys want to see more and less of on this album? personally,
 
more: psychedelic guitars and psychedelic atmosphere overall, venice bitch and ultraviolence/west coast style
less: piano-based songs. i really enjoy them, but i think we've had plenty on NFR and i'd like to see it switched up!

I actually picked you as one of my best taste votes as I noticed a lot of songs posted by you    along with baddisease who I know I like a few of the same people as who also got voted as worst taste with me lol and I picked electra as i know they are a big lana fan and also as I seen posts about scottish independence and hate for tories   

american is and will always be criminally underrated

I have a bad feeling that this album is going to get roasted...
Really hope that it's actually good and not cringy. With some instrumentals, too.
