Hot take but i feel like fans should be able to talk shit about people on fan ig accounts. You could maybe make a case for not commenting on people's personal ig, like Sean and her dancers, but I know of very few other famous musicians who put their fans on blast the way people around Lana do, like her guitar guy did when someone complained about NFR songs not being in the NFR tour, and like Ben reacting to what people say, like Sean DMing people? Like the more I think about it the weirder it is.

It ends with said protagonist deciding he is better off fapping on his own and considering murdering his significant other for being evil. Because apparently being unfaithful is worse than being a murderer lmfao. 
It's like an incel wrote a story about how a typical relationship goes according to the wisdom of 4chan. It's a typical male narrative about how women are evil slut and how it justifies murder. There is a lot of such crap on the internet and in media, if you learn to recognize it it's hard not to see it.
I was not suprised to see Sublime had a song about date rape tbh with the author having the below to say about it:

ok.... i feel bad and i think i'm gonna get torn to shreds for saying this and i'm trying my best to word it as kindly and reasonably as possible (especially bc mercury is in retrograde rn) but...
 
that video actually made me feel worse about the whole situation    i was anticipating her saying something because it took her long enough so in some ways i'm glad she finally did, but coming onto instagram looking fine, sounding fine, with obviously freshly done lip and cheek fillers (surely if you're super ill the last thing you'd want is needles in your face? and if you have no voice you could possibly also have a cough, so needles around your mouth area might be something of a risk, no? of course i'm not a doctor so i don't actually know, but regardless wouldn't you just wanna focus on resting up anyway?) and giving a nonchalant "i'm sorry" only to then go on and essentially say "but hey look at all these other cool shows i've got coming up that you won't be able to go to because they're on the other side of the world!!  " then making the utterly laughable statement "of course i'll make it up to you like i always do", particularly when the official statement given by the venue already confirmed there would be no rescheduling....... girl.
 
 
i'm sorry, i hope i'm not being too hard on her and i guess i should be relieved she at least acknowledged the situation, but tbh... today was supposed to be my show so i'm def feeling extra sensitive today    like i woke up in such a sad mood because of it hahah.
 
idk, i'm not sure what i really expected her to say. maybe just something a little more personal and heartfelt. she honestly sounds fine to me and the fact that, as Rorman mentioned earlier, she was likely out hiking with alex and val (as well as being spotted out and about seeming fine prior to the cancellation of the shows) just makes me struggle to put two and two together. that's not to even mention the fact we pretty much know that the venue and crew hotels etc knew about these cancellations a while before we did. the whole situation is naturally bound to be upsetting, but i feel this video did very little to make it any better and, in some people's cases (mine  ), actually made it kinda worse.
 
that being said, these things do happen. the neighbourhood, for example, recently postponed their entire march uk tour all the way to november. could be a mental health situation, an illness other than what she told us or maybe she really has lost her singing voice! whatever the situation, i do genuinely hope she's okay. i don't begrudge her cancelling shows for the good of her health (presuming that is the case) and i'm wishing her all the best and a super speedy recovery. i just wish this video had made me feel better rather rather than worse on what would have been the day of my show.

same... we obviously don't know what was the real reason for cancelling the shows, so i don't want judge her too much but that video made me so angry, at least she could have pretended she was sorry for cancelling last minute, she had to know how much of a let down it was gonna be for her fans (based on the capacity of the venues, we're talking about hundreds of thousands of people), not to mention losing their hard-earned money on non-refundable accomodations and plane tickets.

I used my refunded money to book a holiday, I’m kinda glad it’s cancelled now. I’ve already seen her live before, and I know I would have witnessed a subpar performance anyway. I wish I wasn’t so easily upset, but the manner in which the cancellations were handled has put me off Lana completely

A few days ago, Elton John (72 years old - in the buisness for over 50 years) was performing on stage with pneumonia. Pneu - fucking - monia. 
 
In the middle of the show, medical team jumped on stage, took his blood pressure and helped him. All this happening on stage in front off 100,000 people. 
 
He turned around on his piano and went back to playing. 
 

 
Sadly, Elton lost his voice entirely a few songs later and had to leave the stage. He was sobbing because he wanted to continue the show for his fans but he couldn't. Elton adores his fans.
That very night he went on instagram and left a heartfelt message apologizing to his fans. 
 

 
I'm all for Lana not touring until she is back to the way she use to be on stage back in 2012-2015, but the LEAST she can do is go on twitter or instagram and give a brief statement about the cancellations. This is beyond unprofessional. 
 
If a 72 year old man with pneumonia can do that, then so can she or have someone in her team post it for her on her social media on her behalf.

Of course people are bringing the narrative of "she doesn't owe you anything!!1!" into this... people paid hundreds for tickets, flights, hotels, cancelling work, etc. We're owed something. We're owed at least a tweet. That's barely anything at all. It's selfish and childish to call off a whole leg of the tour and not mention it on your own social media. She's been hanging out with friends for the past few weeks, not bedridden and on the verge of death, too sick to post.

I also hope things are okay, but for us to feel sympathy and not hold it against her, we really need to know the excuse sooner rather than later.  
All it would take is for her to copy and paste the statement on her personal channels. After working in customer service, I find not apologising or issuing a statement immediately very rude and disingenuous.
