I think Lana is a big part of these type of feelings. Lana just doesn’t seem into anything anymore herself which leaves the fans stranded on the line of disinterest. At this point we make a lot of excuses, “maybe she will do promo for the next single”, “maybe the next album will sound ___”. Lana I feel has completely turned her focus to her intimate life and will continue to make music because that’s what she loves, but won’t feed into promo because she never has wanted to. I fear that the NFR loss of album of the year and the QFTC backlash really did a number with her perception of fame and everything and intentionally chooses to live in the shadows to not receive anymore unwarranted hate. With this, no promo goes hand in hand.

here comes the cocc slander until next era when suddenly everyone will love how misunderstood and underrated cocc was and fake loving it from the beginning. will this cycle end some day it’s been a decade...?

I wonder if this mastering issue is done purposely. Like with MAC and VB, Jack remastered the songs for the album but maybe they just need to put the songs out first to see peoples reactions and gain a broader perspective on the extra details that may need tweaking? It would make so much sense having millions of extra ears to notice the details that could've been initially missed

my guess is that they never really have been in good terms, I guess for a while lana and pat had an okay relationship because lana became successful and she has a good relationship with rob and maybe they tried to make peace but I think something else might have happened and lana decided to step away from her for good

Also pictures dont show everything. And tough relationships can be complicated. There are often good moments and terrible moments dispersed throughout 

Maybe her siblings didn't know? Or thought that it was normal growing up like that. Sometimes people try to forget traumatic events and brush it off to live normal lives.  Lana seems to be in a journey of healing and acknowledging problems is the first step

ive never felt so empty listening to lana songs before; these songs are so bleak and personally tragic I really connect and feel what Lana is trying to say. one of my biggest fears is deeply regretting the life I lived and all three of these songs scream that exact same emotion "So I ended up awkward but sweet" ;( the way our parents and our relationship with them affect who we are as adults so heavily and how difficult it is to separate yourself from the way they made you think and feel when you were young is such an untouched struggle in music that im so glad Lana finally feels comfortable laying out on the table for us. 

while we’re on the topic of yosemite can the insiders clean their ears out cause where on fucking earth is blue banisters a blend of yosemite and i don’t wanna go ? neither the production nor melody sounds like either of those songs  stick to leaking info and not songs descriptions boos 

All three songs are incredible and in the right direction.
Wildflower Wildfire is my favorite.

Ok I have finally been able to listen to the three songs with headphones, and read the lyrics, and here are my two cents for this album so far: 
 
Blue Banisters seems like the continuity of Chemtrails, its yang side. It’s Violet X Chemtrails X Norman. This explains why she wants to put it out rapidly, since it’s the follow-up to Chemtrails.
Both Chemtrails and Bb remind me of Taylor’s folklore and evermore. Evermore is way more personal than Folklore, and the second one is more « experimental » at moments than Folklore. I expect a bit of « experimentation » with the other songs of this album as well. and she really is telling her story and this could be her sweet revenge. 
 
I don’t know how her team feels about a Grammy submission but if it’s on the table, the album should be out before the end of summer. 

The production of the three songs is still a bit « minimal » but the way the structure of the songs shifts is closer to what we got with Norman and that I loved (that’s my biggest problem with Chemtrails: the melodies are too simple, not really shifting from chorus to verses). 
 
Blue Banisters is Lana at the peak of her songwriting. The narration is simply superb. And the way she thinks about her new man and the music becomes so dreamy  And when she eludes later that it didn’t work out  Also love how it begins similarly to Chemtrails (by the way, both album titles are so beautifully poetic, put side to side). 
 
Text Book has an incredible story as well. It’s really « Daddy issues » Lana acknowledging it. The melody is a bit harder to follow, but I’m loving it more with each listen.
 
Wildflower Wildfire is so beautiful in its vulnerability. I only wished that the last minute of the production began earlier in the song. 
 
If there’s a cover for this album, there’s a high probability it could be a Joan Baez one, since she referenced her at least twice already (Dance Til We Die and Bb). 
 

I feel like it’d be easy to paste a song over another. 
 
she used the triple video for both MAC and VB and those were full videos

I love these new songs so much. True singer songwriter spirit. She's SO talented. Her craft will only blossom more and more in the upcoming years. Never been more proud of her

I am so ready for a 15-18-track album

I’m back again to preach about how fucking good Wildflower Wildfire is. I haven’t been so floored by a Lana song in YEARS. it’s just so fucking good. The lyrics, her vocals, the production, the entire last minute where the production goes crazy... all the shit it revealed about her relationship w p*tty and mental health and stuff. I’m just so destroyed 

I mean you can instantly tell  by the sound of both tracks that Zach was a part of the production . Wondering whether we'll get more songs produced by him 

the line could refer to her wanting to get her father's approval for the relationship and to show him that the dude is capable of fighting the same battles as her - and the lyric after it explains her screaming for the things that weren't possible to desire from the relationship 

the godflower godfire slander stops now! it's amazing and there's still many opportunities with Mike I still have hope
 
 
Fine China too they resonate with the album's poetic undertones and sound 

Okay I’m literally addicted to the drums and distortion in WW leak the instrumental asap mike will probably do it himself if we ask for it
