I just realized that it probably is a nod to her video games mv... and it was uploaded on October 16th 2011

the instrumental has grown on me... it's like the opening chapter to a long journey... kinda feel like a little sister of MAC with a southwest twist 
 
lyrically it says not much tho

this is the first time that i think, Jack as the only producer for another project is not the best idea...
nothing about this sounds new or fresh or diffrent.
 
i mean they had "Baby Blue" that could change up things. let's hope we hear something like this

After a few listens: 
1- this song feels like a warm embrace;
2- I get the Fine China similarities mentioned by the ATRL insider, though minimal: the intro piano and the theme to escape from the city (in terms of lyrics, Fine China is the most “country” she has ever sounded and “out-of-LA”).

I just remembered that post on her Honeymoon account where she writes about pink champagne and purple rain.
Was that taken from an early poem? Or a song that didn't make it on the album?
In any case she re-used that phrase on LMLYLAW now.

I think LMLYLAW was the first taste of the female fragility she was talking about in the QFTC and the “it’ll be a topic I touch on in my new album and upcoming poetry”. The “I want you to come, I know I’ll be fine but I won’t have as much fun without you, I need you” kind of ideology about this person

This song.........its the shy sister of Venice Bitch and MAC. Its less mournful but just as delicate.Those guitars are so woozy and the bridge is just, well the bridge with headphones on is just dreamy. I swear I hear faint bells during the middle half of the song. Soooooo. I love it. I LOVE IT. I think the only reason its a "grower" is cus the chorus doesn't smack you in the face like some of her songs do. This is such a headphone/car ride song. YAY!!!! (Also it does end so so abruptly....this bitch is #1 on the record isn't she)

I definitely don’t hate it, I think the vocals are already an upgrade from whispery nfr. I agree with other users that the second verse sounds too similar to the first and it’s a little dissatisfying.
also agree that the bridge sounds similar to living legend’s bridge
It doesn’t sound like nfr to me, her vocals are giving me early 2013 unreleased vibes but the mixing and overlaying vocals throws me off, Id prefer without it 
I hope this is the start of the album and the rest of the songs go in a different more aggressive direction (DEALER) like jack and her mentioned in their interview ~ let’s not forget ladies 
anyways i’m gonna try to listen only a couple times bc i don’t want it to be stale once the album comes out
