Yesterday, Lana Del Rey was spotted by a fan while out with her sister Chuck Grant in Los Angeles, California.

Just bought the red cassette 

i still haven't listened to dealer   i'll be ready to hear it on release night  
 
is it true that two versions of dealer leaked?

Black Bathing Suit theory 
I posted this on my fanpage on Instagram, but wanted to share it here too. 
 
I rarely believe in rumors or even post about them, but I read something saying Black Bathing Suit has the same vibes as High By The Beach and something caught my attention; back in 2018, when she came to my city, she went to the beach wearing a black bathing suit, but didn’t take her clothes off because of paparazzi since felt uncomfortable, so as High By The Beach music video is focused on the way paparazzi invade her privacy and make her insecure, it totally makes sense she would sing about that day. She loves coming here and she must’ve wanted to enjoy her day at the beach, but couldn’t because of it, so I wonder if the song is a big “fuck you, I just wanted to have a nice time but couldn’t show my black bathing suit because of your cameras” and it breaks my heart…this album is so personal, it’s very close to her poetry and it shows she’s maturing and growing, so I’m proud of her for singing about her thoughts and experiences like that. 
Even if the song is not about that situation, I wish she wouldn’t “have” to go through this just for being who she is…
 



Btw the picture is fully informative, I am NOT supporting their work and the way they made Lana feel uncomfortable, I’m just showing you what happened so we can relate my text with the image and we can discuss the subject. I’m glad she had a nice time with her friends and some fans despite the situation though :-)

If I remember correctly someone asked him if there were any long songs like VB on there and he said No, TB was pretty much the longest song. So he wasn’t confirming that TB was officially the longest song, he was verifying that there weren’t songs longer than TB overall (so 10 seconds longer of BBS doesn’t really qualify) and not to expect any VB vibes

I think it has a huge effect. Chemtrails leaked about two weeks early and Stans who bought physicals were illegally streaming it A LOT for those two weeks. Then by the time it was officially released they weren’t listening as much. Obviously it’s what happens after a few weeks of a having an album. If it never leaked her steaming numbers would be better. Hopefully no leaks this time!

It affects streaming numbers from people who don’t buy physicals though. Then again not sure that the number of people that listen to leaks is significant enough to cause a huge difference. I think it would be nice if a Lana album didn’t leak for once though. That way we can all react to the album at the same time. 

For me, I'm considering the unreleased tracks that were reworked as new tracks since they're supposedly so different. And even if not, they still won't be identical to the versions we have (the only track I 100% think is the exact same as the one we have is NOTG). Anyways, 21 more days until album of the year

beautiful is giving me black beauty. i hope it's as vulnerable and genuine, something that is intimate both lyrically and sonically to break up the hoey pace built by the interlude, bbs and iyldwm (the unholy neo noir trap meets surf rock trinity).

I can't wait to listen to Chemtrails during the days leading up to Blue Banisters. Like mentioned before, it really does seem like a perfect Fall album. My top 3:

dark but just a game (one of the most iconic LDR track)
chemtrails (the beauty of the melody, the climax, the ending, a masterpiece)
breaking up slowly (the warmness of its sound is so deep I could dive into it everyday)
My fave Lana album for now. Even if Honeymoon was my fave for years, Chemtrails resonates so much with what I'm living in my present.
