Without You, i use to try and avoid that song so much until I sat down and finally listened to it. The piano demo is a lot better than the album version tho!
Florida Kilos use to be a song I hated to but it's became my 7th favourite Lana song. Still dislike Guns & Roses but I have started warming up to it a bit more.

So, based on that belief, I would say all versions of Lana are real.

I hate to use this as an example  but it WAS one of the first times i realised that 'extreme' lyrics are usually just metaphores or exaggeration which just tell a story better. 
When Halsey was talking about her hfk album she said that she turned the real life even of arguing with someone in a taxi  to fist fight in a limousine.  
 
So if Lana Del Rey is real,  to me,  she is exactly how Lana/lizzy feels inside. Of course Lana has never been totally about the money,  but songs like National Anthem, Money Power Glory and FMWUTTT are probably just fleeting little jokes she's made for herself (we know that's the truth with MPG so.  ) based on what she sometimes fantasised about,  but we all know she could never REALLY be that person. 
 
If Lana Del Rey were real,  I think we would question her so much more,  because she really would be the problematic,  crazy,  messed-up-relationship-driven person in her songs,  rather than it being a momentary phase or feeling she had

Well, Lana's life is so damn mysterious and especially her early twenties seem so tumultuous in general that it makes me believe anything tbh. Of course she may be exagerating a little when it comes to some things she sings about, but overall, I really do think that she's done a lot of stuff in real life too. I mean, after you read all the possible stuff that she supposedly did in her past, going with a gang of strangers on their motorcycles for a ride doesn't seem that wild or far off to me. 
 
So yes, if all of that is real, my opinions on her wouldn't change in a bad way. I would be even more intrigued by her.

if everything she sang about was real i'd probably look up to her a lot more and be a lot more fascinated in her. a big part of my (and others') fascination with her during the BTD era was that we believed everything she sang about was true bc we knew nothing else about her at this point. then she kind of let go of this persona, which was disappointing.
 
i do find it incredible though how she literally just plucks these random stories out of thin air and pretends they're about her, you need to have a pretty wild imagination to do that and pull it off in a somewhat believable way

I think it should've been called Happiness is a Firefly.

Would've made more sense because they come out at night. When have you ever seen a butterfly fluttering about at night? NEVER, that's when. 
 
Plus I feel like fireflies are very underrated whilst butterflies are overrated.

She's changed my life and her music is always there whenever life fucks me over. I did kind of stop listening to her when Lust For Life came out, it was a huge disappointment but alas I came back 3 months after it's release. I've stop listening to many artist this past year (Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Halsey are a few examples) but I haven't stopped caring about Lana. I feel like she'll always be in my heart somehow. Even after she retires. 

Born To Die and Ultraviolence was her Magnum Opus. In my opinion. Everything else was either beautiful, good or great. Although in the case of Lust For Life....

Even though this song isn't my cup of tea, I love Lana's part and I'm lowkey proud of her for stealing the spotlight from Ariana and Miley (no shade to them).

I read an amazing suggestion somewhere that Ariana’s part should’ve been about seducing some guy at a club (would’ve gone with the lyrics in her verse) and secretly planting a tracking device or something on him, and I can’t stop wishing for that now. Like, girl’s got the acting experience, it’s kind of a shame how most of her videos now are just glamor poses.
