Wow that's probably one of the more positive reviews I've seen of Paradise-- at least in the media. I hope we do get at least an homage post tomorrow about it on IG because Lana hasn't really acknowledged the 10th anniversary yet   
 
....and a re-press, a limited edition vinyl, and a 10th anniversary of BTDPE would be nice 

In the U.S., the album was released on November 13, so maybe Lana will wait until tomorrow to pay tribute.

This album made a stan. It was quite a different time in my life but looking back, I had so much less to worry about and Lana’s music enriched my life like nothing else ever did. I am forever thankful to have discovered her around that time.

No but for real, I'd definitely try something out with it. Though on a first listen I was not a fan tbh.

Same but I'd probably wait until the song was released to express my excitement about working with her. Surely she knew people would be overly hyped and then disappointed, so I'm not sure what she hoped to accomplish there.

I'm still going to wait until Friday to listen but judging on what I've read- shocked but not surprised.

Let's not jump on the hate train just because Taylor hyped this track up. If I was in the studio meeting my "favorite lyricist" and getting her to write a few sentences with me, I would be excited too, whether she has a verse on the track or not.

WTFF?? that is such an interesting way to tell the story! I had no clue the character was starting off dead. and I saw her say somewhere (prob her tumblr) that the EPs including inbred are not so much a part of the trilogy and instead they are kind of the events that happened before ethel's story. but those projects are more inspired by her own experience, like all of the ethel songs. because as she's said before: ethel isn't hayden, but she does contain parts of her.
 
+ I'm excited for strangers, but american teenager is going to own me. and I love that her tour will prioritize the south bc I want to see her live. I remember NFR tour leg 3 was the most southern tour lana ever did, but she seems to have grown more fond of coming here tho (hence the texas nikki shows and cancelled bonaroo set).

I can't believe I use to sing it "you get fucking hard for me, sipping on you like a Coca Cola." and I swear at some part I though she said "looking at you like a magazine" or something. But, I was at that concert and I was SO glad to have that mystery finally uncovered so I could stop guessing the lyrics lol.

im happy this thread is reopened. I have always wanted to back @Terrence Loves Me up in saying hard times is one of the best songs on the record. It’s top 3 for me at least.
