i feel like her ability to write freely and with variety died when she limited herself to one character and storyline. like her sophomore album could've been amazing had she not went in the direction she did. not everything can be a metaphor about school and that's okay 

i really do hope the next album will have no concept, just a reoccurring theme throughout the tracks (without being repetetive) 

Portals is the final act for Cry Baby’s story (hence the pink alien spirit reincarnation thing). After this I really hope she comes back with no alter ego, we need some rest and I miss her face too. 

You can definitely tell that Lana gets anxiety while performing. Throughout the show she usually gets more comfortable. Earlier in her career compare to now, you can see a difference in her confidence on stage. I feel like she’s also not a big performing girl. She prefers smaller audiences like back in the Lizzy days. I think that’s one reason she enjoys performing with Nikki. Anyways, hoping we get a tour as long as she feels up to it

I’m tired of her sub-headlining. It’s pathetic imo, she has the sales, streams, and critical acclaim. And she always attracts huge crowds.
 
She deserves to headline Coachella and Lollapalooza. If I were Ben and Ed, I would refuse the sub-headliner offers at this point sorry.

I doubt we're going to get very many songs from this album sung when she goes to Brazil, but the fact that that's happening after the album's release is pretty exciting to me. I'd really love to hear what this album would sound like in a live context, particularly the title track 

let's talk about tour setup, since ocean blvd is all about ORCHESTRA i really wish she'd go back to the time that she brought violins to the stages.

Wow- there are so many great options now. I'm kind of like- most eager what song she steps out to? I miss UV era when Cola/Cruel World guitar would play for her tour. That was the best.

the song that grew on me the most is The Grants, it's seriously soo beautiful. It has her best vocals on the album, alongside American Whore 

let the light in is the best song on the album
i knew it immediately on first listen at a listening event and it still hasn't changed
it clicked and something inside me shifted for the better

It’s super weird because this album was at first really overwhelming for me to
listen and while I really loved it and appreciated the art, it was really hard to get into the vibe fully. Now when I listen to it it already feels like a  classic. When I listen to Margaret or Sweet or any of the songs really, I feel like these have been Lana staples for years now. It’s just that good

This album truly is her best yet.

Too Many Trinity syndrome is the best possible case for an album, we fucking won. Paris, Texas-you lonely wistful ghost that you are I love you. Fingertips is a song I'll be sad I can't hear anymore when I die, it's that good. Peppers being the coolest surfer bitch on the block-just so many wins

Okay the thing is I didnt care for Paris Texas the first time listening to the album. But it slowly but surely definitelu grew on me & now its in my top 3 most favourite of the album . This record ages like fine wime the more you listen to it istg my top 3 is literally in constant rotation. I CAN'T CHOOSE WHAT'S THE BEST 

I swear if there is a hair on her sweater in the Candy Necklace music video I’m blocking everyone on her team-

Quietness/muffled sound of the album is just because of bad mixing and mastering. They are sending clipping songs to streaming platforms two times in a row, it’s just not good for an artist like Lana.

I was a powder hater but it finally hit me . Still think the song would be better with less vocal effects but it's still a bop
