This truly does feel like an extension of MAC. I love it so much and this is definitely a song that came straight from Lana’s heart. Her voice shines so brilliantly on this track and the lyrics are really heartfelt. I love the first verse so much. So excited for this record and hope we get some more traditional sounding instruments on it! I loved the flute(?) towards the end of the track - it really reminded me of the sound that the Navajo flutist she invited in Albuquerque brought on stage!

there are so many intricacies in the production. like the ever-so-soft drums in the chorus, the layered vocals, the electric guitar panned to the left...jack really is a genius.

does poetry count? I did this cover of "Never To Heaven" bc I relate to it so much. I replaced Joe with Jill, bc that was my ex-gf name and it just felt right...and i replaced Long Beach with the city of Vancouver, which is where my grandparents live and seems to be developing at such a quick rate its shocking (i apologize to anyone who doesn't like the fact that I didn't keep it "pure")

It's beautiful. Jack can produce her vocal so well. The layering, the folksy sound, the lyrics--this was everything I was hoping the album would be when she said it's "very midwestern". I was worried her next lead single would fall short of "Mariners", but this is another home run. 

Ya I feel like anyone expecting a Florida Georgia line song from Lana was just like...dumb lol

It's beautiful! I love the vocal layering, and the bridge & the final lines are the highlights of the song. Miss Del Rey with her stunning bridges is back!! x
