Despite what she said in her last ig video I still cling to the date she’s previously announced... and even if COCC won’t be out tomorrow, i know it’ll be pretty soon! 
I get that would’ve been nice to have an official “delay announcement” from her, but she’s working hard nonetheless to drop it as soon as possible, so we must be patient for a little more, it can’t be worse than NFR! 
Just relax and enjoy the ride, since there’s nothing else we can do!

i know it's going to be a bit disappointing if the album doesn't drop tonight, but like @IanadeIrey said, we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes, and we can't automatically blame lana for it. i want the album too, i have higher hopes for it than i did nfr! but i think we should be calm and collected no matter what, nfr is barely a year old, we just got a spoken word album, and we've had some amazing leaks this year, and most likely more to come, she hasn't been sitting on her couch all day doing nothing, she's been filming / shooting for days now, and working with neil krug! neil krug! i think no matter what, we should stay postitive. 

there are literally so many artists that have had delayed albums, some of them even delay their albums for YEARS. yeah it's disappointing that cocc won't come out on the 5th because that was the date she gave us but it's not like she's sitting on her ass doing nothing, she's actually working on professional expensive visuals which is something so many of you dragged her for not doing during the nfr era.

I think it's fair to say that we love Lana for being one of the most genuine and unique artists of our time. 
She has never been and never will be a pop artist with a perfect album promo rollout.
Delays happen, get the fuck over it. She's given us so much still, perhaps even more albums than some pop artists in the same amount of time

To be fair, I don’t think we ever really know the full scope of the things that go on behind closed doors and I personally wouldn’t blame Lana the way I’ve seen people do (and I’m not singling out anyone here in particular, I’m just speaking about what I’ve seen happen online collectively).
 
Things can turn on a dime, business plans don’t always go according to schedule, and there’s a lot more people and companies involved when it comes to putting out a body of work that is as publicized and intricate as an album by Lana Del Rey. Of course, I’m not claiming to speak for Lana or anyone from her team, but I do think that to assume that the reason for delays is because of Lana’s perceived “unprofessionalism” is a bit unfair to her. I know the fans that I have seen all have good intentions that maybe don’t always translate across the pond when they feel things in the heat of the moment, but I do just wanna say that the words we use carry a lot of weight even if we don’t realize it. 
 
Again, not speaking about anyone in particular or lecturing at all - just trying to help move us out of the black and into the blue!

that first interview in SEPTEMBER of 2018 announcing the album title (along with two singles) 
 
then nothing. Hope in January (which was originally October she said in the interview) Doin Time in May. Finally huge reveal in July for a last days of August. A year. 
 
An eleven month wait
 
An extra month of getting a single, video, and drop ALLLL planned out doesn’t anger me. We know it has to be coming soon it’s good loves

she should be more open about these things, yes. 
 
but we can’t be surprised, this is literally nothing new. 

Everyone needs to take a deep breath, log off for the day and get it in your heads that the album is still being mastered, which takes months. It will be here by October. 

As much as I love this site, I didn’t discover it until 2014 and I lurked for 3 years until I made an account. Before I was more active on here, I didn’t even realize that waiting for an album could be as much of a rollercoaster as I’ve seen it be on here! 
 
I can honestly say that waiting for anything feels less draining when you’re not constantly thinking about it so if anybody really feels overwhelmed, friendly reminder that you can always take a break from the site. By no means am I trying to be a spokesperson for this site as we have such amazing admin and moderators here but I just want to put it out there for anyone who might need it! 

The truth is. She’s gonna b linking teamdelulu’s private links to the record, just delulu’s. So cocctober peeps really do have to wait til october, but they don’t even know. Like we could be listening to it and u dont even know. U. wouldnt know. 

Idk how you guys survived the NFR era... 
 
If that didn't harden you, waiting a few weeks or like a month or two at most extra (hopefully dear god) won't either 

She said in her video that we'll hear LMLYLAW before we see the Chemtrails music video, implying that we won't hear the entire album before we see the Chemtrails music video, only LMLYLAW.

I think that LMLYLAW will be a sort of buzz single (without a proper video) to quench our thirst in the meanwhile, then I suppose that COCC will be the lead single (since she's shooting a high budget video) and it'll come shortly before the album release...
she's probably shot an homemade video for TJF already but I guess that it'll be just a cute lil fan single after the album drop 
Timeline should be:
LMLYLAW audio only
VIOLET...
COCC (track) + video
COCC (album)
... then TJF and maybe another one (or two) single
