She’s taking it. Like everything about this album has GRAMMY awarded energy. I can feel it.

Weirdkowski liked a post in a topic by Embach in Lana to release new song "Henry, Come On" with Luke Laird
I hope she doesn't do an EP, I hate EPs because they're too short, COTCC was already too short and it's an album!
A song like Henry deserves to be on a real album

Weirdkowski liked a post in a topic by Wtauf in Lana to release new song "Henry, Come On" with Luke Laird
She will be on upcoming apple series soundtrack. The song will be a cover and released around 14 February i think.

NADIA LEE COHEN THE LEGEND YOU ARE I'm speechless. We need her for the LDR10 cover

Weirdkowski liked a post in a topic by taco truck in Indio, CA @ Coachella: Weekend 1 - April 12th, 2024
This might be controversial but I hope she does a greatest hits type set her hits are just as amazing as her deep cuts imo and I just really don’t think songs like Bartender/Arcadia/The Grants/Candy Necklace/White Mustang are suited for Coachella (even though I love a lot of those songs).

Ocean Boulevard liked a post in a topic by Weirdkowski in Rank Lana's Albums
1. Ocean blvd/ NFR are her best - no skips, greatest lyrics and vibes throughout these records are just something else. Like VB, A&W, Hope, Mariners, The greatest, Fingertips, Paris Texas shit’s on anything that was released before. As a fan since 2013 I feel like her artistry and creativity has evolved so much that it almost reaches pink floyd’s music and I really think her magnum opus will come even later because she’s just getting deeper and deeper.
2. honeymoon
3. chemtrails
4. Ultraviolence (even tho a lot of the songs are a skip for me, especially second half)
5. Blue banisters
anything from here is more generic and mediocre Lana that I really loved while these records were released but her creative progress and writing has made these albums sound primitive and boring:
6. Lust for life
7. Paradise
8. Born to die (her most generic piece of shit) sorry not sorry

Weirdkowski liked a post in a topic by Terrence Loves Me in What makes a great album?
Two things: Good music (although this is subjective of course) and cohesiveness.
And cohesiveness doesn't have to mean that everything sounds the same, when i think of a great album the first thing that comes to mind is Britneys Blackout. That's a great example of an album that is extremely cohesive but every song is a different style and generates a different feeling. Production is also really important!

A good concept that is maintained throughout the songs.

Good album art (on theme as well) + cohesion in terms of production/sonority

Weirdkowski liked a post in a topic by TropicoKitten in What makes a great album?
I love when an album is extremely cohesive. When every track sounds like it’s from the same universe, it helps me visualize the album better as a whole

Let The Light In and Margaret the smash hits you are
Kinda wish they would send Let The Light In to radio stations ( if that didn't happen yet lol), I think it truly deserves
And I love how the Grandfather Let The Light In Margaret run feels like a warm hug and is very uplifting Fishtail, Peppers and Taco Truck x VB obviously slay too and are giving us LIFE
I just realize once again how good every part of that album is, she really did THAT
Also the way Kintsugi is not only right in the middle of the album but it's the heart of the album too
That post was kinda filled with random thoughts but I love Ocean Blvd so much, it's my fave along with Honeymoon and ugh I could go and on and on
