    fake tracklist idea ::

    death by the ocean
the lights take me home - a home i do not know
    fluorescent lighting
    seamtress training
    hotel linoleum
cries of a silent film actress
    sequoia
    talking like an answering machine
    route 101
    birth in the mountains

    edit:
    even more delusion

death by the ocean (ethereal piano ballad with rob on piano)
the lights take me home (very minimal with a lot of emphasis on the percussion, trip hoppy)
fluorescent lighting (acoustic guitar song about things that irritate her)
seamstress training (black bathing suit with acoustic guitars and lana singing across a wide range)
hotel linoleum (wild at heart part 2)
cries of a silent film actress (violet bent backwards style - recites a poem about violence against women and the instrumental is like venice bitch on steroids)
sequoia (soft soothing song after the hit of the previous one)
talking like an answering machine (completely re-recorded)
route 101 (several layers of vocals, like a choir, but it’s just lana)
birth in the mountains (15 minute psychedelic anthem with folk guitars, choir, brass, more rob on piano, dealer screams, green light / masseduction like production, literally the sound of the world ending)

It was traumatic then, truly, especially considering that i hadn't become a part of LB before that yet. I did not even know where to express my feelings, that 11-month-gap was a brutal time for me as well

Could also be Del Norte Coast which ties in with her love for Yosemite I guess?

I can't believe it hasn't even been a full year since LDR7 and we are now speculating single/album titles for LDR9

I’m probably alone in this, but if she works with Jack again, please bring back Venice Bitch’s fuzzy guitars!!

Imagining Lana’s muffled vocals over something like this is heavenly

If there’s something I could ask for more than anything is for there to be an album trailer. I’ve always enjoyed watching them, and they’re so beautifully put together allowing for people to not only get a taste what the album will be like sonically but also visually. Both visuals and snippets of the songs also help drive the album’s theme, and create an imagery of what the era will be like.

Not going to lie, I was kind of sad to see that we didn’t get an album trailer for Chemtrails or Blue Banisters, so I’m already assuming we won’t get one next era either; I can only hope!

    +2 for another UV-esque album.

I know it's talked about a lot, but UV really was amazing and she shined during that era. As for the actual music, I believe the mellotron instrument is the glue that held UV together and made it so cohesive, so if we don't get another UV, I'd like for Lana to use the mellotron a lot more in LDR9

Just an example below of all the sounds you can get from one instrument. Sounds very familiar

I can see this album being really similar to her May Jailer work lyrically. Just from her Instagram captions and that livestream she did, it seems like Lana's been really introspective lately, which is how I see a lot of the lyrics from that era. That's probably the aspect of LDR9 I'm most looking forward to to be honest. I love the way she writes so much
