both MAC n LMLYLAW have somewhat groovy guitars(?) to them. they have similar soundscapes where MAC's oceanfront and LMLYLAW's is more of a deserted farm field. but they're both airy. the latter's just a lot more spaced out and slow, but for me at least, both have a similar vibe to them. they partner well together. 

themes on being ready to love, being ready to support their partners from what they're singing. both are pretty emotionally, and patiently valiant. it's just a little sad to think about thru this stream since LMLYLAW's got that abrupt ending as if she just left without a trace.

So why did nobody find the password to that file?

I can hear the similarities between LMLYLAW and Fine China in the chorus, but as much as I love LMLYLAW, it's not nearly as devastating as Fine China is. 
I just think it was a poor choice for a first single but it will perfectly fit in the atmosphere of the album. Just listening to LMLYLAW after COCC is incredible  Can't wait to hear the transition between the sultry TJF and the cute LMLYLAW.

maybe it's the mac / fine china in the context of the rest of the album? obviously lmlylaw can't compare to mariner's or fine china, but maybe they meant that it's the mellow, heartfelt song of the album? 

calling LMLYLAW the MAC and fine china of the album was the biggest lie ever

I just listened to "Bartender" right after LMLYLAW, and wow. "Bartender" truly feels like it's in a liminal state between "Norman Fucking Rockwell" and "Chemtrails over the Country Club." It fits both records perfectly, imo. It's so funny how it was the first track that she had ready for "Norman Fucking Rockwell," yet almost predicts "Chemtrails" in a way that Yosemite will. 

I think they said LMLYLAW was the MAC of the album and that most of the songs were finished and that she would actually be able to actually release it on September 5th 

can't wait to hear her messy raw vulnerable squeaking in white dress  album trailer today or tomorrow!!! if i say it it has to be true  

I don’t remember either if they said anything... They talked about LMLYLAW... but not the rest, I think? Only Eclipse seems to have talked about White Dress... But I could be wrong though. 

What did those insiders who heard the album in the summer say about it? I forgot. 

This album is giving me a mix of Honeymoon and AKA... 

I hope Eclipse does as well 

I'm imaginging PWYC vocals for White Dress. They said she sounded like Stargirl, but what part of Stargirl? She goes insanely higher in the chorus than the beginning of the song.

I hope she gives us White Dress teaser as a Valentine’s gift! 

sorry but if there’s been like 10 snippets of a supposed unleaked song and not a single one of those snippets sound clear enough to say w confidence that it’s a real song .. then it’s fake

I'm gonna do White Dress, but no snippets. White Dress will be so powerful that it deserves its own moment to process. There's also so much we don't know about the album so release day will be full of amazing surprises regardless.
