ultraviolence is her sexiest music video. the finger sucking, the orange eating and the wedding dress *chefs kiss*

it's also very eerie too like she just got married but she escaped with this man who took her out to the woods and he's filming all these close up shots of her cause he admires her beauty. i think the video we got fits the song better than the scrapped freak video, the beginning of the songs just sounds like a tragic off-key wedding tune.

While I 100% agree that Hope is a Dangerous Thing is her best song (for so many reasons), the rest of the list is... quite questionable x

Religion at 100 and the cat powers flop "collab" getting a higher placement..

God Save Our Young Blood - a song where Lana is hardly noticeable - even making it onto this list and ranking HIGHER than some very personal, introspective songs (namely Is This Happiness) is terrible. What even. 

Only tangentially related to Dance Til We Die but Joan Baez’s granddaughter’s TikTok showed up on my feed and she tells the back story of how Joan Baez sang with Lana at the Berkeley show. 
 
Turns out Joan didn’t really know Lana and they only like met the day before. I thought they knew each other before NFR came out 

COCC isn't the lengthiest but it sure is packing some impressive girth 

White Dress is so ridiculous (in a good way), it completely overshadows the rest of the album. I still can't believe she managed to pack Sun Ra, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon references, and the "down at the men in music business conference" line into one song.

I really need Lana to collaborate with David LaChapelle - i believe he will do RCS concept justice. Looking back FLAUNT Magazine photoshoot - i can really feel the RCS vibe

violins and cellos are what are missing on lana's songs along with some electric guitar, and a better balance between the instrumentals and her voice

I like the more cheeky and subtle explicit songs. Something that isn't obviously sexual but hidden under metaphors and shit. 
 
 

I don't really like explicit songs. Unless it's for creating a certain effect as she did in Cola. Lana have tons of sexual songs without driving the explicit path, Stargirl for example. I want something so sexual and erotic that it seems like a fever dream. The tension is there, but it's all blurred and you have to complete with your imagination
