literally she has been on with her career for almost 10 years now and all i see about her artistry personality is just her being trans. She & her fanbase clearly made that into her personality now.
Like, we know that shes not the only trans pop artist right?

this is going to be the last thing i'm posting in this thread before i spend mental energy on more productive things -
i know that there's some people who are upset that other people can't agree to disagree about this situation (among others)
the thing is that kim is working with a man that R*PED somebody and is CHOOSING to work with him - this isn't a contractual obligation there is both a receipt as well as her verbal confirmation that she has directly chosen to work with him
expecting people to agree to disagree over THIS SITUATION SPECIFICALLY shows what type of person you are
don't really care whether i get nasty quotes or a wp because it's true
that's all i'm out

"hope is a dangeroud thing" is really heart-wrenching whenever it's playing - yet it's beautiful and so genuine.
I love it not because it's sad & distressing & im trying to glamourizing that, i find it beautiful because in that sadness, there's a glimpse of hope crepting throughout the song. That is the point you contemplate Lana's growth as an artist & as a woman, which is inspiring to witness.
i used to prefer the title "Sylvia" / "Sylvia Plath" but lately i understand why she chose this long-ass title. It shows her vunerability yet we still see such empowerment before we can even listen to what she had to say in the song.

Hi everyone, so i think it's time for me to start my own thread with cover arts i made.
In this thread, i will try my best to serve you the finest of my album artworks/ reimagine covers/ posters/ fan-arts in common, not just for Lana, but for soooooo many other artists that i care & adore as well.
If ur interested, welcome to Whore of Tropico's gallery!
Here are the first looks:
Lana Del Rey - Rock Candy Sweet (LDR9 concept):
BANKS - III (I made this in 2019)
Ariana Grande - Positions
Lana Del Rey - White Dress — the single artworks:
(i actually made this one looks like an ending credit movie scene)
(why 3 covers? Because i love this song so much & it's one of her magnum opus)
Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club (Reimagined - because i just love the back cover so much, it should have been the actual album cover).
Lana Del Rey - Blue Banisters (Reimagined Selphie artwork - "Collector's Edition" in my mind)
Lana Del Rey - Watercolor Eyes (Single)
(to be updated) xx

if i look back and see what album had the biggest impact on my life, and changed who i am (or made me who i am) it’s so evidently nfr. that album hit me like a meteor and i did a full 180 when it dropped. it is genuinely one of the biggest turning points and formative events i’ve had in my life, and has defined and continues to define so many periods of my life

This album is so nostalgic for me that I honestly can't listen to a few of the songs if I'm feeling too much that day. If you put on The greatest, hope or HTD while I'm already emotional I'm gonna end up in a ball on the floor
