I'm just glad we are back to 5 minute songs, it's a perfect length for Lana 

Yup I really feel that too. By now, I'm getting excited when she's using her low-register vocals again

Well she said herself in one of her poems that her 'voice is higher' so Im not sure if there will be any song with that low register unfortunately 

100%.  I'm also tired of everything being in falsetto /head voice.  Missing her low voice of the early records.  When she would occasionally sing high on the early albums it had a big impact, because she used it sparingly.  Now everything is up in that range and there's less dynamics.

BB is supposedly track 1 so if it's not is a break on a tradition

I can kinda see TB being the opener, it’s very calm, kinda like Cruel World was. It wouldn’t have a grand opening with strings like BTD, HM or NFR, or any sort of instrumental build up before Lana starts to sing like in WD or Love, but it would still be a great opener imo. The way it’s very quiet in the beginning and then becomes louder and bigger in the chorus makes it a very good contestant. Also, « I guess you could call it text book, I was looking for the father I wanted back » is a pretty iconic line, very heartwrenching and would set the mood for the rest of the record
 
edit: now that I think about it, Love starts very quietly too! So TB as the opener wouldn’t be shocking

honestly when i first heard the "tex & mex" line i thought she meant some sort of restaurant 

She has already adressed blm / racism, so I could totally see her sing about politics- maybe more general like LFL, maybe with specific lyrics like in the three singles we got.  Also how she thinks it all comes down to narcissism.
 
 
Sorry but I dont see a big difference between Tex & Mex vs. Nikki, Chuck or Jenny if we talk about average listeners. It was the same with COCC

I went outside to smoke a ciggy in the thunderstorm while listening to WW. It was an holy experience 

14 is such a lovely round number for Lana’s records. I really hope Blue Banisters has 14 songs, though we’ll gladly take more 
 
It seems she has a lot to say with this album. I mean, she is catching us up on her thoughts from the last 20 months (18 at the time of the Music Week interview) so I think we’re in for a longer album. 

Blue Banisters hits just as hard as White Dress. And that’s the tea.

They really struck a chord at some emotions i've been covering, but not processing. Especially in regards to my parents and my life not turning out the way I intended.

WW has the most accessible melody to me (as of now).  My first listen, I thought TB had the best melody or more interesting one. Now, I’m not so sure.
