there's something really witchy and haunted about many of lana's moments throughout... especially the little heads and tails of shots before or after she starts singing along. an otherness under the sweetness

I LOVE it when she sings "Nikki Lane" on BB. The musicality of the name, the rhythm of the syllables, the 2 different ways she draws out the "Laaaane," the rhymes with vane and pain and rain and baby on the way and green & grey, the specificity of the storytelling, the set-up for BUS, and a light splash of trolling given the fan sentiment about Nikki. It's super iconic.

i really liked the music video! i honestly didn't expect much going into it, but it was very sweet & cute! i really like the "stormy" aesthetic of the music video! i also love how day-to-day life it is, yet still remaining artistic & beautiful!

Can I just say I’m really enjoying this era, the music is her best in a while, the videos are so personal and indicative of the message behind the music. The photo shoot is beautiful. Everything so good and personally I love the use of the honeymoon account to promote the album.

Today was such windy,  kinda stormy autumn day & I went on a walk  & listened to this album.It was perfect, the beautiful autumn landscape, the grey sky with the sun glooming through & the wind on my face , coloured  leaves flying around & this beautiful new music Truly experienced the album in a new way today & it was phenomal like I felt I was in a dramatic movie during BBS I started dancing, swirling around with my coat & pretended I had long hair that flies beautifully in the windI hope no one saw me haha

As did I. I'm in the Northeast and it was beautiful, cool and windy day here yesterday, and I listened to BB all day outdoors, even though I still don't have 'Beautiful' or 'Thunder.'

You know I was thinking something similar the other day, I could imagine like it’s my wedding day or birth of child. And I’ll probably still be checking LanaBoards for the latest Pre/PreRelease thread. This is a lifelong journey.

She’s going to sing Beautiful on Colbert and that’s that on that. If she doesn’t I will literally sue

This is extremely powerful and wise. Her little snapshots of today will define our times for the future. 

The way she's actually being vintage by making modern references because "vintage" kids will listen to it 50 years down the line and see them as old references  I understand her vision and I love it
