I shared it here before in more detail during the Pre-Release, but I formed such a core memory with the title track that I'll always carry with me. In short, I gained the news of three deaths within 24 hours just days after the song's release, one of which being my dear friend Candy that I had met through the Lana community that passed on the day of the song's release, a man in a car accident I was stuck behind in an Uber with my girl while we were blasting this song on repeat waiting for the traffic to clear, and the death of my friend's husband when I signed onto Facebook for the first time in years to attend Candy's livestream funeral. It was very overwhelming, and re-listening to this song floods me with the same emotions I had within that 24-hour span. I felt like those 3 people were very clearly trying to tell me not to forget them before I even knew they were gone. Their message was received loud and clear, and I'll never forget hour span. I'll always think of those three while listening to this song. Such an emotive song.

Okay everyone, I’m off to take my final sleep before the announcement, and this time I’ll be unconsciously manifesting news NOT to come during my slumber because I actually want to be awake for this!! I have my alarm set for 11:15am EST, so I’ll check in with you all then.. and in the event that the announcement comes before I’m awake, I do have a Pre-Release template set up for another mod to launch so you all won’t have to be kept waiting (though I do anticipate the announcement to come at 12pm or later EST, so I’ll most likely be able to launch the thread for you all myself.)

Last night, Lana Del Rey celebrated Jack Antonoff's Grammy win with him and other friends Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Margaret Qualley, and Laura Sisk in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jack Antonoff won Producer of the Year - Non-Classical at this year's Grammys. Lana and Jack have been spotted together various times recently, and it has been speculated that they are perhaps working on a new project together.

My only hope is that the music will be bombastic. I know Jack didn’t tease unused bombastic songs for nothing.
 
And while his production isn’t my favorite I know it’s not solely his fault and he is going the direction Lana wanted. After LFL the songs Rick and Lana worked on together was bartender and happiness is a butterfly (which was piano only before Jack added the guitars) I’m sure that’s what Lana told Rick she wanted. 
 
so instead of hoping for better production from Jack (since he can obviously produce absolutes bangers (melodrama/reputation)) I hope Lana is in the place where she wants to have fun and liven the music up, even just a little. Blue Banisters was a step in the right direction and I want her to keep stepping that way
