    Anyways, I’m already anticipating what some of the fandom will say about Paris Texas but I think that track is gonna be dreamy and hazy in a very specific Bartender-ish way.

    No, seriously. Candy Fucking Necklace.
     
    I need to recover but this album is probably her magnum opus, recency bias be damned. I have so many thoughts to assemble but I think this is a fucking classic. Her vision for this is starting to fully click with CN as the final piece of the puzzle and I can see why she says she’s passionate about music again. I don’t know where she can go after this, it’ll be very hard to top what it seems to be her ultimate manifesto.
     
    And I don’t care if I sound dramatic but listening to Candy Necklace is exactly what was missing even though I was already loving the record as it was. Massive, in-fucking-deed.

    edit #2: i will say though, i do think that it's unfair to say half of the album should've been axed. i'll give you the interludes, but the rest of the album serves it's purpose. ironic coming from someone whose username is an axed song

    Her most cohesive record (after HM) as far as sound goes. It’s incredibly special to me, like a good conversation with a close friend or a road-trip with your besties from the beach back to the city, as sunset is setting.
