Jack Antonoff is a musical genius, I like his work on NFR, COCC, Folklore and Daddy's Home.

thinking about how 1 week after BB was released I got blackout-shitwasted-drunk and first ended up not knowing who I was and where I was and then stumbling upon my childhood home crying my eyes out and screaming at the top of my lungs to my mother for not ever being there for me when I was growing up and how much I miss my dad even though he's 100% shit  also how I don't care about anyone else except my sisters and that my only duty in life is to protect them

Lana truly unlocked something with this album

To this day I'm still wondering why someone sabotaged Lana's chance to get an Oscar nom for 'Young & Beautiful'? Like genuinely curious why someone would do that?

The mention of Picasso makes sense, because her album is about colors, especially the color blue. Picasso is famous for his "blue period," so she's not really comparing herself to him, but wants to show that sadness played an important role in his artistic life. Being sad and singing about it can produce something beautiful. Also, as one of the most important singer-songwriters of our time, I think she has the right to make this comparison.

I wonder if Rob is playing piano on the next record too?

Note that his shirt is NOT the same one he was wearing when recording Sweet Carolina on June 14, 2021.

She is no longer the pop star of yesteryear, and I don't think she wants to be. Her focus is now on writing poetry, you have to pay more attention to her lyrics and that was already the case with Chemtrails.  BB was not quick, the core songs like Black Bathing Suit go back to early 2020. Like honey dew said she is now on another level.

There is a German online music station that plays music wishes from users:
    https://wunschradio.de/
You can only wish for three songs from an artist in a day, and they have to be at least three hours apart.
So which group of three songs from BB would you play in the morning, at noon and in the evening?
For example, today I would take Blue Banisters, Beautiful and Nectar Of The Goods because they all have a reference to the color blue.

in my opinion, blue banisters is much more ambitious than chemtrails and it does a much better job at serving sounds she has never done (BBS and dealer especially). and i don't think having 4 different album covers, all shot professionally is a sign of lacking willpower. yes she was a lot more determined with BTD or LFL, but because she wanted them to be big, blue banisters is not meant for being #1 on the billboard hot 200 chart, it's her diary, her own story through music. she was never a pop star
