The only artist I’m really surprised with who got a lot of nominations was Justin. I’ve honestly never heard the songs he was nominated for and I’m shocked his album was in the same category as Doja, Ariana, and Olivia when all 3 of those saw way bigger success and influence from what I’ve seen. I really have a hard time understanding what makes an album worthy to be a nominee  And when people say an album isn’t Grammy material I don’t really get it cause it seems to be all over the place

Peaches was a major hit, I guess it's one of those cases where the hit carries the album, I mean not that his albums wasn't a success, but I was surprised seeing him on AOTY since his album is the kind to go straight to the Vocal Pop Album instead if you know what I mean lol
 
And usually is a mix between critical and comercial succes and relevancy (how big or important the album artist was for the music industry that year)

It makes me upset to see Lana not get nominated for AOTY. Ofc the Grammy’s mean nothing nowadays but still it’s upsetting to see her not getting the recognition she rightfully deserves. How did Justice get nominated over BB? I swear sometimes this music industry makes no sense to me 
 
Anyway, I’m really happy for Taylor, Doja, Olivia, and Billie and I hope they get to take something home. I’m choosing to focus on the positives

I found an ultraviolence version of wildflower wildfire, and it's really great. It doesn't by any means replace the original, but it's an excellent companion.💙
