Honestly I'm not expecting a single tomorrow, but I do think she'll mention something regarding LDR9. A teaser trailer for the album? A MV/audio snippet? The album title? Something random like "new single soonish"? It's the first time there's an actual build-up to her birthday, lol. It must mean something. Remember when she posted the Arcadia snippet + the album cover and even BoZ was confused because he thought that the album would be called Arcadia? She's random like that. I won't be surprised if she posts the entire tracklist. Or if she posts nothing LDR9-related at all.  But I'm being hopeful!
 
Anyway, I really love Buddy's Rendez-vous so if the orchestral production of the Erickson tracks is similar, then I'm definitely going to love that section of the album. It would work well with a few HM-inspired Nowels tracks on the album (if she really worked with Nowels on LDR9). Erickson also played most of the instruments and wrote the string arrangements on Angel Olsen's latest album. I actually really like his work on BB. IYLDWM's outro is fantastic; the horns and strings on Arcadia create a slightly unsettling soundscape; even a track like Beautiful - which is lovely albeit very simple - has Erickson's gorgeous expressionistic piano which makes it quite unique in Lana's discography (ditto Sweet Carolina, although I consider that one to be one of the highlights of the album anyway). 
 
 

I don’t really think you’re a minority, I feel like I see people complaining about Blue Banister and Chemtrails all the time. And I do kind of agree with you.. I love the poet acoustic etc songs, but I’d like some more music that “bites” as you said.
 
And I do absolutely want some UV sounding songs (favorite album!) I still want the poetic lyrics, Lana’s lyricism is one of the stuff that has drawn me to her music. But just because a song is poetic does not mean that it has to be acoustic and slow. She could scream, make us scream, because poetry has never been about being calm.
 
Please Lana give us some more West Coast, Cruel world, pretty when you cry and Ultraviolence sounding songs. And Velvet Crowbar of course. I’d also love some Old Money and Ultraviolence demo sounding songs. 
 
I hope you get what I mean, I’d love some more rock— and orchestral songs. I feel like that’s when her lyrics reach me the best, and her music becomes even more unique than before. But of course I do love Blue Banisters and especially Chemtrails. 
 
Either way I’ll take whatever Lana gives us (unless it’s another collab with ASAP Rocky…)

I sure hope so! Plus lustforlife did say that if we loved Buddy’s Rendezvous, we’d love the direction of LDR9… so I have hope

I wonder if she’s going to post something COCC or BB-related tonight as a build-up to Tuesday? So far we have some vague hints: HM aesthetics (photo shoot + Swan Song / God Knows I Tried + following Nowels on IG and his response to a fan) + LFL original witchy/spacey/dreamy concept (album trailer + W Mag photoshoot inspiration?) + NFR loose/stream of consciousness style (Antonoff + hope 2nd video).

thank you I felt crazy since I haven't seen anyone talking about it lol. Idk what it is though because this shoot is from 2019 and I think she only started recording the new stuff for ldr9 recently but we know she's always making music so it could be something else
 
anyways the vocals sound just like her and when the instruments swell in the middle it sounds gorgeous. hope we get more info on Tuesday 💫 🌠 

is her newest video (the one after Hope 2nd video) not a new snippet cut up? I don't recognize it and you can hear her voice sometimes over what sounds like an orchestra which would match with how she described it in the W magazine
