Tbh I like a&w as an opener but I feel like she’s usually too nervous and flustered at the beginning to do it justice and like that beat and intro just sounds too cunt to not absolutely eat it live

Sorry but Lana is not above Glastonbury - if you’re late you don’t get to finish. She’s been late 3 out of the 3 festival shows she’s done. I get that she’s Lana and acts like she doesn’t care about stuff like this but it’s actually really unprofessional and disrespectful idc

I've had the same reaction.
I like it, but I don't crave it, and for me, that's partly because it doesn't have the crisp, direct, immediate sound I like with her music, regardless of the song structure. I remember with a former album, I literally walked around Manhattan and Brooklyn for half a year listening to it and never tired of it, because it energized and held my attention all that time. And I still love that album.

Listening to taco truck x vb. Does anybody else think it sounds just like Maggot brain by funkadelic ?
I think it’s beautiful and my favourite right now. I just wish the tt part was longer and they added a heavier version of the guitar crescendos from VB.

Peppers, American & whore and taco truck don’t have standard melodies- they feature loud talking over samples, odd transitions and gaps where nothing is sung but you’d expect it to be.

It's a fine song IMO. 7/10. No one's hating on it, no one's being a hater.
I think some people, myself included, just cannot and will not wrap our heads around it being picked as a single ten days before the album drops when it sounds more like a funeral procession than anything resembling a single. We feel like she shot herself in the foot, that's all.
