This is kind of out of the blue, but has Lana ever said anything about Lanaboards? Does she know it exists lol?
 

well, there was that whole fiasco when love leaked early, i also remember ben saying that lanaboards was the place where people share lana's old demos that she didn't want out  

no but her managers do, i don't think they're huge fans of us either  

I think there's a very fine line between critique and misogyny that some people tend to tread quite frequently in their discussion on Lana  
 
Anyways, outside of what we've been given from Lana herself and the little hints from insiders (allegedly lol), we don't know a whole lot about the album's sound other than the title track and the Fingertips snippet. We still don't even have a tracklist. Expect for the singular song we have, which you can not like, I don't see what else there is to not like in terms of sound yet because we barely have one 

i mean negative opinions are fine and sometimes entertaining, it’s nice to see a difference in opinions. but ppl hating on the syml track already rubs me the wrong way. it feels like y’all will INSTANTLY hate anything with piano in it. that track sounded so peaceful, wistful, and nostalgic, like walking around paris on a rainy day. it was also fast paced unlike the piano on cocc/bb, so it’s something new. but as long as lana isn’t using instrumentals similar to the ones on btd/uv/hm, someone will always be hating and calling her new music boring. 

She hasnt revealed the tracklist yet bc the titles are gonna shake the industry. She knows we arent prepared. Look at how American Whore shook us. Thats not even the tip of the iceberg 

why do y’all even come on this website if you are going to trash music we haven’t heard a single second of 😭 no matter what you’re not going to like the album when it comes out if you go into it already expecting to hate it and have very weird preconceived biases, that can’t be fun

I've always wanted her to explore lush, ambient instrumentals. The title track from Blue Banisters teased me, so I'm glad to hear that she might be exploring that direction even more

i don't have a time stamp but it's when courtney talks about how lana got rid of all her social medias and then immediately said that people can't get sober if they're active on social media - her quote was something like "lana got rid of all that shit she deactivated her social medias. you can't get sober on that shit you have to get rid of it"

Lana studied Philosophy at Fordham. She's an intellectual; there is absolutely no way she didn't know who Joni Mitchell was.  

tbh I think this is a big lie, because if Lana only knew Joni's music after recording VB and MAC in 2018, she wouldn't have done Bartender in 2017 (non conventional structure and the "ladies of the canyon" lyric...) no way Lana didn't know who Joni Mitchell is lol
