Sean is the one we have to blame for not being born a month earlier so that Lana could have scheduled the album release sooner. He's the one to blame.

American Whore/pastor interlude reminds me of the iconic switch between Body Electric/Gods and Monsters in Tropico  but it might be reversed this time switching from stripper to the church girl.
I was scared of the interlude but now I'm really hyped  I love that she giggles

"unsettling eerie tone" is exactly what we need in this record

i hope Tommy genesis collab is like experimental / hyper pop charli Xcx chuckie xbox teas

Anyway I just need Lana to serve 3-5 supremely depressing black and white melancholic drug abuse slut drop pole dancing slow motion reverb drenched psychedelic surf rock anthems and I’ll accept the Judah interlude x

DYKTTATUOB fascinates me in that it so clearly would fit as a closing track. Screams it in fact, to the point where I’m almost sad it isn’t, the last lyrics being “don’t forget me” would flow perfectly.

Then I ponder what musical savagery she’s going to commit with the actual closing track 😭 ugh the hYPE

lana serving one of the most iconic brazilian memes that is this boy laughing during a prayer is everything I needed

I'm also relieved that the music sets an unsettling eerie tone for the sermon, this sounds much more promising than a cheesy inspirational moment.

For me, it will be the real successor to the NFR. I respect the last two albums a lot and love them, but I believe that Chemtrails was purposefully understated, whereas Blue Banisters was a deal-breaker.

What intrigues me most about the release of Lust For Life is that, when you look back, the album seems so accurate to the time period it was released. I can't explain it, but the album captures the atmosphere of 2017/2018 a lot. Years later we faced a pandemic and witnessed wars, which makes that time still seem OK in comparison.
But there was something in the air - oh, gosh - that made me feel uneasy about the world, and suddenly, all of Lana's positive words made sense to me and were necessary - when, previously, it had felt like hype and hysteria.
At the same time, there were so many fun tracks to entertain us. I don't know, but it seemed like she knew a sad album wasn't appropriate at that time.
Lust for life is a gem.
And it was really fucking hot.

If he is saying it is random, then I’m guessing it doesn’t actually flow with the album that well. Seems like another Trio interlude moment.

Is there any background music or is he just screaming and cursing gays?

Yes, I think that's what carries it. It kinda sets the unsettling eerie tone that makes pastors bullshit intriguing
But it's just something very random, you can hear Lana giggling and whispering while he's talking so she must have recorded it with her phone while being on the sermon
