It's fun and it's refreshing from the typical LDR ballad and jack antonoff but it's not necessarily that good either  I think she has more fun songs honestly -- this is just kinda... mundane. I feel like she could have made a better trap-pop song.
 
 
I do think this is her worst song lyrically, for one... it was written by a 14 year old  and literally flows like a chatgpt generated song
 
Blue Banisters is trash altogether, i'm not talking about her & if you judge an entire song by it's chorus that's on you I guess...
 
Also ntm on Godchella which is actually retrospective worldly excellence, you just don't get it

SAME, quite literally the sound I’ve been craving from Lana since she debuted. This and a Mazzy Star type of sound would make me MELT. Hopefully she leans into those buttery reverb drenched vocals and steel slide guitar

ya tbh i think the last time i was that excited for a lana release was nfr  i hope she saw how good the reception was for a&w and felt more inspired to step out of her comfort zone, i remember in an interview she said she didn't even want to release it as a single because she thought it was too weird, but her friends loved it so she did, and it was probably her most well-loved single release since mariners and venice bitch lol

The meaning is BEAUTIFUL but I can see why some people don’t like the execution 

I kinda hope she doesn't collab with anyone this time. And I especially hope that she never has Jack sing on a track again 

I was just listening to lost at sea, and honestly I wouldn’t mind and album that had an influence from that song. It’s so beautiful and ethereal

i would love for jack to stop producing the trap/edgy tracks on the next album...they end up sounding cheap and messy 

I'm honestly down for more synthy and/or trap beats-y music from her, as long as it's not done with Jack's cheap/tinny ass, 2$ drum set.
