I think she’ll do 25 - 30 million plus first day streams (with “Sweet” being the most streamed song on the album due to high placement on the tracklist and normal length). She’ll absolutely clear 100K this time I’m certain (but how far can she go?).
 

i used to think jim/jmmy was a specific person but now i think she uses "jim" as an amalgamation of shitty/abusive men in her life.

Pretty sure that's an old picture, but Lana has been in the recording studio a few times now since December, two months after she completed "Margaret," the last song she made for the album. Could go either way, I wouldn't be shocked at all if it's recent either

I don't really care about how the album charts -- just that I don't think it'll be #1 and I know a lot of people on here already have their keyboards clicking with thinkpieces about what it means to her when it's ultimately ceremonial.

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet but, I wonder if Kintsugi was an idea that stemmed from Solve Et Coagula. Remember when she had that in her bio in 2016 and some were speculating if it were a song title or not. It's interesting that they're both similar concepts, so we know she's been playing with the idea of Kintsugi for a while now

hear me on this: once Tunnel gets recognised by everyone as the best album ever and gets the long awaited grammy, and then she gets an Oscar after Candy Necklace becomes the theme song of the new Willy Wonka movie, she should just rework Behind the Iron Gates and get a Nobel Prize for literature while she’s at it. 

She's for sure working on the next album already. She said that Chemtrails was the only album she released without having already some songs she loved for the next record (and we know she had some DYKTTATUOB tracks late 2021) so she's probably back on track.
 
I also think we're getting the covers album in the future cause I find the lack of covers on her last 2 albums suspicious (when there's one in the majority of her albums) so maybe she skipped those this time cause she's slowly gathering songs for it (I don't think we're getting the original Standards concept tho, and thank God ).
 
I don't think she's "announcing" the next album on release day like she does sometimes but I'm sure she'll mention the new tracks like she did really shortly after BB.

yep, i agree. she’s definitely not as “blunt” about her beliefs as a lot with women are, but you can tell with her lyrics and everything that she is definitely a feminist. i’m sick of the “romanticizing abuse” thing too, i don’t get it- why can’t she just write about her pain and experiences without being called a whore? makes me wonder about the line from “A&W,” referencing rape and how people believed she’d have asked for it if she was raped. maybe that’s a comment on all of the people saying she romanticizes and asks for sexual abuse.

I wonder if Kintsugi will make another appearance before March 24th   there really isn't much to spill now that we know basically everything, except for lyrics ig?
