it's true if u consider the melody-wise, this song's melody is so well-written and its what makes it stands out.
another example of a good piano song is "hope" - not in melody, but in lyrical content.

As much as I love her recent and more "bare" piano ballads this one has the perfect amount of harmonies, little adlibs and melody switches to elevate a somewhat simple piano track.
 
If this was released now I'm sure we'd get way less added elements (at least the melodies from the chorus(es) would still be amazing). 

If all of the songs from her that people deem as "piano flops" sound like this, they'll know how to stop complaining

it's true, we need an MV for the title track as well. If not then this will be the first era that a title track dont have an mv and i hate inconsistency

Embach, what's the date on the first recording for Terrence Loves You? I'm positive by the time she got to work with Mark the song couldn't possibly have ever been an early version. Because I'm reading here it was previously completed with Rick.

Lana benefits a lot from her first albums, Beyoncé was very successful with Renaissance last year, so I don't know if that statistic means much either

I think about the same as they always are. But after she lost every category in 2020, I will never get my hopes up that high again.

I don’t think it means much. While she may have more monthly listeners, I am not certain she could sell out a stadium the way Beyoncé can. Such comparisons are frivolous at best and inflammatory at worst. Though, I digress from my belief, in that the statistics are interesting. 
 
I just hope Lana’s cashing those checks and buying herself pretty things. 

If Lana didn’t acknowledge or care about the deluxe tracks, then she most definitely wouldn’t have performed Without You, Lolita, Black Beauty & Flipside on tour.
