lana submitted cocc in early november. On november 3rd she made a live about the american standards n classics which means she already started working on it with Zach which means maybe she started recording an album and thought dealer would be on that new album instead of cocc because it was also produced by Zach which means we r getting a Zach album with Dealer

I've accepted and now love the original and the alternative covers. The original will forever bring me smiles cus I think of all of you and the damn MESS that was reveal day, and the alternative is just beautiful. Also no leaks:) stick the landing Lana, stick it!

The covers you mentioned matched the music, though. This cover is literally an Instagram photo of her and her friends - half of them (including her, if you check the high res) aren't even looking at the camera and she's not in the centre/a prominent position. It's an objectively bad choice for an album cover for those reasons. A cover is supposed to draw you in and I'd walk right past that in a record store because it looks like an album for some sort of weird foot-tapping, mouth organ-playing amateur band from Kansas or some shit. 
I don't like the PH cover either, but the idea behind it was that it would leave it to the listener to create their own mental imagery free of any pre-conceived ideas. 
Had COCC been called "Instagram Bitch" then that cover would actually be quite a clever and fitting choice, but it isn't.

Definitly. It's kind of funny how she talked about how she hates it when a song has a nice melody yet you know nothing about it after it's over.
And then she puts out songs with dramatic names/choruses like  "Let Me Love You Like A Woman" and "Chemtrails Over The Country Club" and after the song ends, you still don't really know what she meant. The songs are nice (even though LMLY is a bit boring), yet it kind of feels like she just came up with those big titles and then could not really make up a fitting storyline for the verses   Of course there are some vague theories and I think it's totally ok that her lyrics are not too much "on the nose", yet I still feel kind of unsatisfied with the huge gap between "loving someone like a woman" and plain chatter about wanting to leave a city with some unrelated Prince-references thrown in.

Damn, RIP to what could have been a proper Side B to Future Nostalgia, aka one of the best pop albums from the last years.

TOOTIME is Charli’s best cover for me. It’s so underrated and one of my most played songs. Only a casual 1975 fan but I’m really excited to see what they’ve done. I’m expecting upbeat or mid tempo not a slow song. I hope it does well. I was going to go to a 1975 show here because Charli was playing too last year.
