By the way do we want a cover on LDR9? It makes sense there's no cover on BB cause she allegedly has a full album of those coming soon-ish (also maybe the fact that putting a song not written by her would take away a bit of the personal side of the album) but I've always loved how fitting they are on their respective records. The Other Woman closing the standard version of UV was chef's kiss

looking back at all of the blind pics she took a few weeks ago, i wonder if she's referencing liminal spaces and if that may be the running aesthetic for this next record...

for those of you who aren't aware of what liminal spaces are, it's describes as:

 

 "the time between the 'what was' and the 'next.' It is a place of transition, waiting, and not knowing. Liminal space is where all transformation takes place, if we learn to wait and let it form us."

 

here are some examples i really like:

the pictures evoke a sense of dread, to be alone somewhere and to feel as though everyone has left, and to hear the sounds of of the environment off in the distance very faintly as if you're sort of in between worlds

 

It may be a reach but i would love to see her explore more of these themes. I only brought this up because i was browsing through a liminal space thread on reddit and came across some pictures of blinds half open in an empty room and it made me think of those eerie shots she posted on instagram, anyway there is something very unsettling and yet comforting and nostalgic about the idea of a liminal space and i wonder if that's where she feels she is in her life right now

i really like the concept but i think she's just following the instagram 'photo dump' trend

No matter what kind of music will be on this album, I hope Lana and her producers tap their full potential, as we've seen with a lot of songs on the last albums, but especially with NFR.

I kinda want to create a new era timeline but I feel it might be too late to do it now? I’m not sure how much I’ve missed tbh lol, I’ve only seen her dad’s studio tweets and heard that she’s been seen with Jack and Laura. Maybe something before that, but I’ve forgotten.

you definitely should! even though not much is known yet... the only things i can think of is

i doubt the spoon lana commented on pusha T’s post means anything but it’s interesting

and i think she got the DNC jacket custom made so it’s a bit unusual… but i won’t be surprised if it isn’t an easter egg

She also said in December in the Variety Awards to a fan that "the next album is even better" when told BB was amazing. We have no real confirmation that she actually said that (other than a tweet from the fan) but it sounds like something Lana would say
